Same here! My DH still loves it so we watch it together. I don't know if they've changed writers or what.

AM I the only one here that watches LOST?

ooo...and I forgot to add Fridge and Ledgend of the Seeker(this is another I just watch with the hubs) to my list.

I envy all of you with DVRs we cut it out of our budget for me to stay home with the kids...so worth it in the end! Thankgoodness for shows on the computer!!!!
 
GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I so love musicals. and weird comedy. and I'm a teacher. so perfect for me.

I never watched Grey's Anatomy when the current series were showing, but I've been catching and loving random re-runs on pay TV lately.

Also love House, Lie to Me, and anything trashy and reality:p
 
Oh Goodness Joslyn... this is so sad ! I totally watch too much TV!!! I'm a huge LOST fan too... I wonder when the new season will start? Have you heard? My DH does not watch it but I think you really need to watch it all to understand the whole story.

I watched an episode of Glee the other night and it was really funny! I watched the one when they guy became the football kicker...Oh that was funny.

We love House too and my kids do the best DWTS impresonation!

LOL! Diane! about McCleods Daughters!! my sister just loves that show..........I watch it when I am visiting her, only cause I have to, and she continually 'brings me up to speed' on all the characters and their past etc. LOL! :)

And totally not into any reality show, two of my DIL's were into a show called Big Brother down here in Australia...........I was visiting one DIL one night when it came on........ I lasted 20 minutes! LOL!! how can it be 'real' when they know there is a TV camera there for goodness sakes??!!! :)
 
McCleods Daughters, that's because we don't have anything like that in Holland! Nothing about farms, horses, cowboys etc.

Spooks is a BBC series about MI5/secret service.

Big Brother started in Holland 10 years ago! It went all over the world!
 
Well there you go, you learn something new each day!! I didn't know that Big Brother started in Holland Diane! I know it was a popular show worldwide but didn't know where it actually started.

and one thing I did like about McCleods Daughters was the fact that you got to see some pretty amazing Australian countryside as well. I think our biggest problem here in Australia is that the local homemade shows tend to have the same actors constantly! After a while they kinda all look the same!

But one that I really love seeing when I am visiting or travelling at the moment is called Packed to the Rafters!! It really is a fantastic show about family life and is very funny and thought provoking as well. Even though it has some familiar and seasoned actors, there are quite a few young actors as well. If this comes out on DVD I will certainly get it!
 
DH and I love Spooks so much Diane! Ona you would love it too! We are getting all the DVDs from the library. Ahh..the Brits do it so well!

Ah now, you see, some of us Brits CAN'T STAND Matthew Macfadyen!!! I gave up on Spooks many years ago as he drove me nuts! I get back to the UK after all these years away and find it's still b****y well airing.

And as to Big Brother - give me strength. I was one of the devoted 10 years, but Endemol productions (the Dutch company that started it - as Diane mentioned) have a lot to answer for! I think this year has seen the death of Big Brother in the UK - it's been canned for next year.
 
I agree with you on Macfadyen! Two seasons was enough of him and he totally tainted Mr Darcy for me. We are presently at season four and its good

Sunday: Desperate Housewives
Monday: Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), Castle
Tuesday: DWTS, American Idol (had to cut out Biggest Loser)
Wednesday: SYTYCD, Glee
Thursday: SYTYCD, The Office
Friday: Monk, Psych
Saturday:.........Oh dear! I don't Tivo anything on Saturday.....I better go get the TV Guide....
 
Tomorrow we get to see the first episode of Castle, the say it's a big hit in USA.
So maybe a new favourite for us here!

Tuesday: Desperate Housewifes
Wednesday: Nothing yet..
Thursday: Expeditie Robinson. Maybe Castle?
Friday: Nothing.. most of the time Popstars
Saterday: I used to watch K2 zoekt K3, but that one is finished now :?
Sunday: Nothing..

I still have 3 evenings to fill up! :lol:
 
What did people do before DVR??? I think I have fogotton!!!

Oh yeah...we had to sit down and watch for a WHOLE hour commercials and all!! LOL!!
