Weekend O's - October 9-10

clarabear

always chatty at the O!!
Hey ladies!! It is barely Saturday, so I'll go ahead and start some weekend O's...

So, yesterday (Friday) was a great day. Ethan's Fun Friday group had a fishing trip where he got to go to this fishery that was all stocked and go fishing. Ethan and Addie both caught a couple of fish and touched them and everything and then released them back into the ponds. Pics are on FB. Derek had the day off and came with us. It was great.

Homeschooling this week was a little light. I need to get really motivated and start making worksheets for Ethan. His handwriting is so atrocious and it makes me crazy so I need to make it less of an issue so that we can work on the task at hand. Then I need to find a handwriting program so that he can work on that separately. I do count handwriting in spelling but that is it, unless I can't read it at all. And we do a lot of things orally when we can. I still need to get him in to see a doctor to see if he is just all boy and can't sit still or if he has an actual issue. i would prefer him to just be all boy, but if there is an issue I want to get it addressed and change our diet or get him medicated if that is the best plan for him. I just don't know. But if DH doesn't get our PCP fixed I can't do anything. That is frustrating me more than anything right now because he seems to think everything else is more important than that right now, ya know? What is it about men that makes them think that whatever we think is important is less important than whatever they need to do?

In the morning Derek is taking Ethan to Cubscouts Camporee and then we will meet by the airport where he can drop off the motorcycle at a parking place and we will drive to Fayetteville, W. Virginia to see a friend of ours and do some rock climbing. Apparently my kids are awesome at it. On October 7 (The anniversary of my friend's death) we decided to go rock climbing to do something fun and celebrate life and the kids loved it and were amazing. Addie climbed the wall like a pro. She could climb up and over the wall without any help at all. I think that might end up be what we end up doing together as a family. they have some great classes for the kids that aren't even very expensive. So, Ethan will also get himself some great patches for Boy Scouts in the process. Yay him!!

Well, I think I'll do some personals real quick and head off to bed.

Chris - So, if you get your insurance together I really want you to try and get MRI's done instead of Mammos. I doubt you'll be able to get them covered but if you can get them covered since you have had issues it would be better for you. I don't want to worry too much about Ethan's handwriting. Mine isn't gorgeous, but it is legible. That's all I want, is legible. I just can't get over how many bad habits he has. I would think that even if it were ugly he wouldn't have all the bad habits he has, ya know? I know a lot will be eliminated with computers but writing still happens some, ya know? We'll see how it goes.

Laurie - Thanks for thinking HSing sounds interesting. I hope Ethan thinks that too in the future. Have a fantastic weekend.

Krista - I hope you get a chance to slow down for at least a few minutes.

Trudy - I don't plan on HSing forever. just as long as we live in a crappy schooling area. It is not good here at all. I decided to do this before we moved. if we move to Texas I will probably stop but we will see how it goes. Thanks for the support.

Petra - I'm glad to hear you are on the move. enjoy your drive.

Meg - I hope the money you need comes in. It seems like the money always comes in when you need it to. Where in Oregon are you going? I lived in SE Portland until I was 10.

Sally - I hope you get everything on your list finished today. If anyone can do it...you can. So, to school or not to school? I will probably be having Ethan finish up some stuff he didn't finish up today that he didn't get to, but not have an actual school day. We'll see though since he won't have a real week either since we'll be traveling. Hmmm...lots to figure out.

Stef - after you don't have a baby belly you'll have a baby as an excuse. That is a much better excuse to not get things done. I'm with you on the CT. I'm totally fine with not being on it. After seeing the list I'm kinda glad not to be on it. I'd be a bit intimidated by those amazing girls. Not to say i'm better or worse or anything but they are amazing. Ya know?? You are amazing to babysit. I was just talking about that with someone. I can't watch other people's kids. They make me crazy. I won't ask other people to watch my kids unless I can give them money because I don't want to reciprocate and watch their kids, ya know? Sounds like a busy life though. Don't overdo it.

Nana - all i have to say to you is...SLOW DOWN!!!!!!! Take a break and get a pedicure.

Okay I got everyone from yesterday so...love you all and I will chat more as the weekend goes along i hope. Hugs to you all!!

Clara -- I lived in Tigard until I was 6, then moved down here to CA when my parents are divorced. Now I'm estranged from my mom, so my step mom is "mom." So, I pretty much spent all of my summers up in the Portland area. They now live in Sherwood, which is HUGE now. Even when I was little it was just a few farmers and businesses, now it's mega suburbs!
Just be careful with the Dr -- try to see a specialist, things like ADHD can be easily misdiagnosed. I don't say that because of some crazy belief, but because of what I was taught in college, lol. Good luck with the handwriting -- handwriting books worked the best for me. The grade school I was in made their own handwriting books because ones for purchase just didn't have enough practice. My handwriting is still terrible, but at least it's readable!
About getting the boy to focus -- My dad uses scouts to get my bro to work for rewards. For example, my brother can't drive until he's either an Eagle or 18. There's a ton of parents who do it, they call it Wings to Wheels. I wish I had the opportunity to do girl scouts!! Our kids will definitely do it along with home schooling :)

Posted my personals and totally forgot about myself, lol!

I'm having fun way out here in the countryside... well, it isn't way out here since I already do live on the edge of the city!!

The air is HORRIBLE from all the fires (remember how sick is made me?) so I can't see the Sierras, but normally I would. The hubby says from the foothills north of here, there's a point on a good day where you can see both the sierras and the coastal range.

Here's a shot I took driving out here -- facing where the coastal range should be.

photo by Ocean Wide Designs, on Flickr

I've got two boxer mixes as my charges -- one is all rambunctious puppy, and the other is a total sweetie! Lol, the crazy one ate a sofa cushion the other day, so his owners told me to keep him in the dog run.

I'll have more photos and maybe some pages later this weekend -- but I know the smog isn't going to lift.

I've gotten a ton of my blanket done Friday, hopefully I'll finish it today or Sunday. The lady I'm house sitting for is a writer -- so she left me some Advanced Reader Copies she's received for me to have now that she's done with them :) They're so tempting!! But I *need* to get the blanket done...

Meg - don't worry. I have every intention of seeing a specialist. On the other hand...my husband grew up with ADHD and still has it as an adult and was never medicated up til he was an adult and I thought we were in the clear with Ethan until I started homeschooling. So, now that I have seen him in action I have started really thinking about it. No matter what happens I refuse to lose my child due to medication or any other form of treatment so I will be on top of all the doctors and their plans. The bonus of being proactive and in the medical field and having a husband who has first hand knowledge of this type of thing. So, we'll get it figured out. I'd be good with trying a diet change if that would help...I just don't want to go through all of it if it isn't necessary. It is expensive and a lot of work to remove all dairy and gluten from our diet.

Clara --
You can handle whatever gets thrown at you :) You're one tough cookie! & totally lucky that your DH has first hand experience, that's probably going to be more help than the doctors!!
I can help if you guys decide to go the diet route -- I'm allergic to both milk fat and gluten. I understand completely about the cost. I'm currently 100% milk fat free, but I LOVE my gluten :) I have learned tricks to keeping the costs down, but it takes a lot of getting used to. I'm weaning myself off it... slowly.

Good morning ladies!! :) I'm up early this morning and off to work in an hour. Just trying to wake up before I get there, but what I would really like to do is go back to bed. It's been a crazy week and the weekend isn't going to be much better. I work today from 8-3ish .... and then tomorrow is our 25th Anniversary at the diner ... so I'm working 7-3 again .... we are doing free breakfast from 8am - 10am.... eek .... and it's also Thanksgiving here for us Canadians .... so the fun part is I get to come home and make dinner for the fam jam after work!! BLAH!!! But we are all home together on Monday for the holiday so that makes me happy!!!

Clara - gluten free/ dairy free doesn't have to be that expensive if you do most of the baking yourself. If you can't into the doctor for an actual assessment, I would personally try to remove those things from his diet and see if there is a difference. Remember that as frustrated as you are with him, Ethan is suffering worse, because his little body is racing out of control and although he wants to control it - he can't. :( {{{HUGS}}}}

Good morning O-Fam!

I just posted in a whole bunch of the O-Games and now my headache is getting so bad i can't think straight. :(

I have to get ,my butt moving, I have so much to do today. Then later we are going to our town's Autumn Lights Festival. We celebrate the town's first traffic lights. How corny is that? I used to see Faery-wings stuff there, but whenever I did the weather would be bad. I was going to this year, then decided to not sign up. And look at the weather- couldn't have gotten better- sunny and 70*. If I had signed up, it was have been a hurricane -- again.

Anyway....

Clara- good luck with Ethan. I know I have some websites bookmarked from when I was tutoring. How old is he again? I'll see if any of them might be helpful for you. I am pretty sure I have some handwriting ones as well. Do you know what handwriting program you are using? My kids had to use Zaner-Bloser in Elem school so that is probably what I have.

Meg- sounds like you are having a great adventure, including dogs ;) Your photo is gorgeous, even if there is smog. Hope that it doesn't make you sicker.

Krista- hope that you have a relatively happy/relaxing weekend if you can. Happy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for *you.*

Be back in a bit, I am going to try to get something in my stomach and some Advil.....

xoxoxo

Good morning ladies! I'm hoping that things are getting into a slightly better routine in my life so I will have a little more "O" time.

We have two soccer games this morning and then only two weeks left. :-) And Sydney got moved up in gymnastics so that schedule changed as well. Wednesday classes are from 3:30 - 5...and although I hate missing the class because of work, Daddy will handle most of that. Normally, I'd arrange my work schedule but since I have it already arranged for Mom, I'm going to just have to adjust.

Mom got through her first week of chemo and radiation with few side effects...just very tired. Six more weeks to go!

Clara, I hope that things get worked out quickly so that you can get Ethan in to see the doctor soon. Shaun's handwriting isn't very good...mainly because he doesn't want to take the time. :-( Sydney's handwriting is beautiful because she is a perfectionist. And that's the way my two are wired.

Meg, would love to be able to see the Sierras.

Thanks Chris. You rock as always. :) He is in 3rd grade. I don't know what program he was using in school. I'm guessing the "Do whatever the hell you want, as long as it gets on the paper" program. I still just can't get over all the bad habits her has. My second grade teacher would have hung me by my toes. Have fun at the festival. I love festivals. Enjoy the good weather.

Krista - Thanks for that reminder about Ethan. I forget about that and even Derek forgets about that. I might have to hit you up about some of that cooking stuff (Meg you too). I hope the anniversary goes well and Happy Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I hope it is great holiday for you and your family. You'll have to come back here later when you have time and tell us what the Canadian traditions for Thanksgiving are.

Meg - you want to PM me any resources you have for the gluten free stuff? Or where you buy stuff. That would be awesome. I really need to get online and find out what in the world it is. That would help.

Okay, off to my church small group. get to hang out with Andrea and some other ladies today. Oh, get this...Ethan had his Cub Scout Camporee today. derek didn't say anything and had everything all figured out. Well, he went to the wrong place and so they are at some random camp place that is not where the Cub Scouts are at. So, they are going to go through the book and mark off their own stuff instead and then we are headed to W. Virginia to go rock climbing. Should be fun. Okay off to get ready. Loves!!

Hey Chris...hope that you can get rid of the headache! Don't want to waste a Saturday on a headache!

Krista, Happy Thanksgiving! I wish I lived nearby and I'd stop by and celebrate the 25th anniversary with breakfast. :-)

Clara...I couldn't help but smile about Derek winding up at the wrong place. Glad that he's figured out something to keep Ethan happy. Enjoy the rock climbing.

Oh...and I'm downloading everything to the new computer. I should be ready to roll by tonight! :-) Might even see if anyone's around to do a lift with!

Sooooo -- I didn't go to bed until after 2am, kind of addicting to crocheting and hulu. When I got to the guest room, Harry was already curled up on one side of the bed -- leaving enough room for me on the other.

He woke up about 7:22.

Sooooo... I suffered, woke up, and took pictures of the sunrise that's supposed to happen over the sierras. Instead, it happened through smog and two foothills that were visible.

Now, I'm trying to wake up enough to drive home to shower and take my medicine -- which I forgot. Ugh. At this rate, I'll catch up with my husband on his way home from work!! He works about 20 minutes North of here, closer to Yosemite.

Ok, I stink, need to shower, and maybe take a cat nap at home. See you ladies later!

Morning, girlies~!!! Today is a sewing day!! (surprise, surprise!! LOL!!!) Yesterday I only finished 8 camera strap covers and I completely changed around what I could in my craft studio...I LOVE it now!!! I posted pics up on my Sally's Angelworks fan page!! (please like me, please like me!!teeehee!!) I feel like I have a rug in there for story time!! LOL!! I haven't ever had a big space in the middle of the room before and it's sooooo rejuvenating!! I just LOVE it!!!

Mr Gorgeous is home for two days...it'll be the best two days ever, because Monday is the last time he has to leave me!! So we are totally excited!! :)

I'm also getting stuff together to put on Etsy...some people say don't do it, so you have stuff to sell at the craft shows...and some people say, a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush!! So I'm going to put half of my stuff on Etsy, because personally, I like money!! LOL!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful incredible Saturday like I'm having so far!! (LOVE my coffee!!!! yummmmmmmmm!)

love you all!!!

Krista- another busy weekend- but when aren't you busy

Linda- maybe I can scrap tonight- dh will be watching the yankees- continued prayers for your mom

Chris- enjoy the amazing all weather- I'm grilling today and booting up the hot tub for a night under the stars

Good afternoon, ladies. What a day. Already.

We had planned to go over to MIL's house early to hang out and have a cookout for her bday, but she called at 6am from the hospital. It seems FIL woke up about 3am and didn't know who he was, where he was, who she was, etc. She rushed him to the ER thinking maybe he'd had a stroke. The Drs ran a bunch of tests and said it wasn't as serious as we feared, just a circulation issue and he has to start taking asprin. So, we went over for an hour, just to check on them and wish her a happy bday, but otherwise we're back home. Funny thing: she said he kept flirting with her but told her "I'm pretty sure I'm married, so don't say anything". Good grief. Lol

I have so much to do and so little motivation. Blah.

All this talk of gluten-free diets has my brain whirling. Have any of you used this as treatment for other things? I have had rheumatoid arthritis since I was a kid and I've been hearing recently that eliminating gluten may help alleviate some of my symptoms. But...just the thought makes me cringe. I LOVE gluten! lol I also live in a very small and isolated community, so gluten-free products are not readily available at my grocery store. I would either have to make my own, or order them from somewhere else - and right now my budget is so tight it squeaks.... If anyone has any thoughts, I'm all ears.

Sally - when you get your stuff listed on Etsy - be sure to share the link! I'm always looking for Xmas gifts and goodies, and I'd MUCH rather support a local home-business than a huge conglomerate like Walmart. :)

Good Luck Krista - sounds like a long day. I also am very interested in hearing the Thanksgiving traditions for Canada.

Linda - so glad your mom made it through this week alright. Here's to 6 more weeks of strength!!

Everyone I missed - hope you are having a great Saturday! My little one is napping, so I'm going to stretch out on the couch for a few minutes and enjoy the quiet while DH watches some college fball. Perhaps I'll see you ladies tonight. :)

GOOOOOD EVENING LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I went to the craft show this morning with my Mom and Sharon and I am sooooooooooooooo glad I went......It was great one...I really could not believe the prices this year.....maybe sales have been down so people are selling for cheaper...but I scored a few cool things!!!! But I have to tell you about this one lady....She had the whole place mezmorized!!!!! I was for sure....she was making all these really cool things from clay....very detailed...it all looked so real!! we watched her work for about 30 minutes.....it was amazing....She is from Thailand....and she taught herself to do this when she was a girl....she has taught her daughter and now she actually has classes to teach others.....I SIGNED UP!!! It won't be until they come this way again....so I hope she does come back!!!! OOOOHHHHH and the name of her booth "Nana's Clay Creations"......now how could I NOT love her!!!!! Here is a photo of the little goodies I bought...except for the butterfly...she just made that for me!!!!

PA080373.jpg

She had a beautiful set up...and everything she had she said took her about a year and half to make....Oh she had some very DETAILED compositions of products in frames, and shawdow boxes and in ceramic pots, boxes...etc...... some of her stuff went up to $200

Traci and I were going to take the kids to the pumpkin patch this afternoon, but we decided to wait a couple of weeks....IT WAS TOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 90 degrees today!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

Okay.... I am going to run...I will do some personals tomorrow...I have to get some dinner...it's after 7 pm!!!

Lol, Ok since both Stef and Clara asked -- here's some of the ways I know to cut down the cost of gluten free diets without having a good source

Bake all your own bread -- with rice flour. I can get it super cheap from Fresh and Easy, but I have friends who just throw rice in a food processor or blender. F&E is a great store with tons of gluten-free things, but it's only located in the SW. I've actually began baking all of my bread just recently, I pretty much only make french bread.
This may seem labor intensive -- but if you have a stand mixer and plenty of freezer space, you can dedicate a day or so a month to make a lot of dough, portion it out, and freeze it.
Don't feel guilty about eating pizza -- make your own dough from rice flour, and ... freeze it! I use the Pioneer Woman's basic pizza dough recipe. Pizza is a really versatile thing that you can use any sauce, and any toppings. And my hubby is... a whore for pizza.
You can pretty much sub in rice flour for anything.

Now, the expensive part to gluten free living is almond flour, and snacky things like crackers. I've never used almond flour because of the expense, but I think it's mostly used for baking sweets. Also, if you're seriously getting rid of all gluten -- you'll have to get new cooking utensils. Wood and plastic will retain gluten.

So other than using rice flour and baking more of your own things, it's a matter of memorizing foods to avoid. Clara, you can easily turn baking days into homeschooling opportunities. It'll cover reading, following directions, math, and science! Two birds with one stone :)

Thanks Meg - it doesn't seem quite as scary as I was thinking. BUT...what about pasta? THAT will be my downfall. :(

Early morning all - This morning I am going to church, work, and grocery shopping, then home to enjoy the rest of this magnificent sunny fall day!

Good morning ladies ;)
Happy 25th Anniversary to my Momma :)

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends ;)

Canadian Thanksgiving traditions .... well according to my eldest daughter ... it is to eat your body weight in stuffing and cranberries :hurt: I'm not sure what most people do to be honest, but for us, we get together and eat lol ;) Since the weather is blessing us with some stunning sunshine, we will likely take the girls for a walk and stuff to today or tomorrow. I don't think our traditions are alot different than anyone else's other than we don't have the shopping frenzy for Christmas the day after :) LOL!! Our holiday also always falls on a weekend ... so Monday is the holiday. Since I typically work Sunday's, it's not really a big deal in our house, which is unfortunate I suppose. My brother and his girlfriend always go away Thanksgiving weekend, to the Simcoe County Fair, for heavy horse pulls, tractor pulls, pulled pork on a bun lol ... all the yummy stuff. We actually were going to go this year, but because of the Anniversary, I needed to be here for my mom ;) Peter and the girls did a little yard-work and housework yesterday, hopefully tonight we will have a fire, we were going to do it last night, but we had my brother and Donna over for dinner and cards instead.

Tonight's supper will consist of turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, spaghetti squash, turnip, carrots, snow peas, cranberries, coleslaw and dinner rolls ;) Yeah it's basically just a food frenzy lol .... and it will also mean I likely won't have to cook tomorrow !!! Which makes me VERY thankful!! :)

I am counting how long it will take me to drive over to Krista's house for dinner  That sounds delicious!

Clara I sure hope you can get everything going for Ethan I am sure it isn't easy for him either. Sounds like you're a great mom! :)

NanaLinda: wow that's an amazing pic! Are the plants/flowers made of clay too? Cause they look real!

Meg: good luck in moving to Oregon; I am jealous! :)

Sally: as soon as I have paid all my bills and have tons of leftovers on my pay check... you'll be my first stop!

Stef: how is your FIL now? I hope he will get better soon.

Jason and I are currently in London, Ohio but we are moving to Springfield later where our company has a terminal so we can do laundry and take a shower. Since the economy is still in bad shape, so is the freight situation. Normally we would have to beg to get a day off but now they recommend it. In other words: they don't have anything. :suspicious:
This is really getting bad. We used to drive about 5500-6000 miles a week. These past 2 weeks we haven't gotten over 3800 miles a week; and we get paid per mile. I know we have nothing to complain about really, since we still have a job and that is something to be grateful for these days.

So we're going to have breakfast at Waffle House later; can't miss out on breakfast at the Awful Waffle
And I am hoping to catch some of you in the chat room later so we can chat and scrap!

Lastly here are some pics I took a few weeks ago in Portland, OR and of Multnomah Falls, although I could only take a shot of the upper half as semis are not allowed to park there so I figure I will never get to see the bottom part and/or entire falls; discrimination I tell ya!

Have a wonderful Sunday ladies!

Thanks Meg, so much to think about!

WOW Krista - set a place for me at the table! ;) Aside from the next-day-shopping-chaos, it sounds a lot like our Eat-Until-You-Burst kind of celebration. My favorite holiday, of course!

Dutch_Diva - BEAUTIFUL photos! I understand what you mean about dealing with slow loads, etc. My FIL was a long-haul driver for a very long time, but when his health started to decline, he switched to hauling locally. Right now he hauls pipe in the oilfield and when it's booming, we never see him but lately, he's been off more and more. It will pick back up soon (it always does) but it's just the waiting that gets a little hard.

Hi ladies! SO sorry that I ended up running off so fast yesterday and then never made it back. I ended up getting showered and b-fast, then Gary said that he wanted to walk to the Autumn Lights fest. Now I am pretty used to walking, but this was far. LOL we were both limping along by the time we got home. But it was a beautiful day and we saw some friends and the kids with their friends. After I saw the "craft corner" they had set up, I was really glad that I didn't go. The main "strip" was very very crowded, but hardly anyone was walking past the craft booths. My town doesn't truly appreciate hand crafted stuff, sadly.

Looks like all of you had really great days.

Clara- that is too funny about Derek- but glad the boys got their badge work done anyway.

Krista- happy eating :hungry:

Petra- wonderful photos. I am so happy to be able to see the US through your lens. :)

Meg- hope you are having fun on your travels.

Linda S- you are so strong lady!! Hope the schedule calms down for you and that your mom continues to have few side effects from the treatment.

Nana-- how cute are those sculptures!

I know I am missing a lot of you, but my brain fritzed out! Love to you all!

Good morning girls! Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadian ladies! And Happy Anniversary at the Diner Krista! Hope that the day isn't too exhausting for you!

Meg and Stef, going gluten free sounds hard. But, I'm sure it's like everything else, you do what you have to do!

I've been to Multnomah Falls and I agree...beautiful place. Sorry that the hauling is slow right now. My husband sells real estate...it's pretty slow as well. Most of his work is coming from foreclosures and short sells.

Nana Linda, glad that the craft show was fun. I love the clovers with the little ladybug! Part of the folklore of Chinese adoption is that when you see a ladybug, it means that referrals are coming. I have several little ladybug charms here.

Laurie, sounds like you've got a great day ahead!

And Sally, woo hoo on having Donnie leaving for the last time!!!! That's great news!

I'm grabbing a few minutes of computer time before I get ready for church. And I actually got a layout scrapped last night! Woo Hoo for me!

Chris and I were posting at the same time! 5 miles...girl, you need to get out some of your bath salts for tired feet! :-)

Krista -- Hooray!! You dropped by for more than a few words! Happy Thanksgiving!

Petra -- We're going up for just a week and a half, but we definitely want to move up there. When we first visited my fam this summer, my husband went up there thinking he'd never want to leave California. Within the first day he had his pro and cons list, with the pro list tripling his cons! Unfortunately, law enforcement certs don't transfer state to state, so we're still figuring things out to be able to move.
Good luck with the move!! I hope things pick up soon. My father in law always says if you don't see trucks on the road, then the economy hasn't recovered.

Chris -- Sounds like a lovely evening, limping home and all! Our town is getting better at appreciating crafts -- there was a few years where it seemed to regress, but now there's craft consignment boutiques popping up!

Linda -- I hope your hubby gets more work soon too! I'm an appraiser's assistant ... most of our work lately have been refis and reviews of foreclosures. I can't remember the last time we had a sale :\

The mariachi music played past 3am, even after a deputy came by at 1am... hmm, I wonder who called the the sheriff? Lol ;) I passed out from exhaustion around 2am, but they had such a loud blast at 3am I woke up all over again. I don't know how anyone can listen to mariachi music for over 18 hours. I wonder if this happens a lot, I'm going to have to ask the family when they get home.

Well, I was fending away a cold before the band took up residence across the street... and now I definitely have the cold. Today I'm going to explore my options for having some kind of more income flow... I still haven't had any pick up in business. I do have two jobs going right now, but the clients aren't very forthcoming in what changes they want me to make to finalize their sites to get my full payment. So, I'm thinking of opening a shopping cart on my site with maybe some lightroom presets, or make a few kits every now and then, maybe do album and christmas card templates -- I don't know. I just need something more, even if it's just $20 every two weeks.

Home from work ... ;) My little beauties Mya and Keisha are riping up bread for stuffing .... omg .... so so sweet ... they are the cutest ;) And they have done a fabulous job!! :) The table is covered in bread ... but they have had alot of fun ... ;) We are going to take the girls on a nature walk this afternoon, the sun is so amazing today, and the 4 dogs!! LOL!! :) And my camera .... looking forward to some fun fall pictures!! ok have to go shower :)
