Happy weekend- getting ready to hit the treadmill walking and wanted to say hey to all my Oscraps friends. We have dance today and I am not sure what else- pulling the ceiling down. I had a really busy day at work and will need to finish what I started sometime before Monday. I also have a graduation party to attend. Guess it will be another weekend that is not long enough!

I have great news! My septic is all fixed!!!! and all for under $2000! Isn't it funny how I can be totally happy about $2k? It sounds so much more affordable than $20k LOL

But now we can take real showers and do laundry and wash dishes.... oh wait. That doesn't sound fun.
The weather is supposed to be nice today- but righ tnow its all cloudy. If the sun comes out, I want to go to the lake.

Laurie- have fun pulling your ceiling down- don't forget to wear a dust mask.

Good morning ladies! Laurie, sounds like there isn't much down time ahead of you today. But, it does seem that the ceiling is a necessity. And Chris, it's all perspective! So 2,000 sounds great compared to 20!

Nephew has a baseball tournament so I'll probably split time between that and hanging out with Mom. My cousin's daughter gets married tonight so that's on the docket. Tomorrow we have church and then celebrate my nieces' birthdays. The youngest will be 8 on Monday and the oldest will be 21 on Tuesday.

So, at the end of the weekend, I'm sure I'll say "Where did the time go?"

Lots going on today...picnic, swimming and dance recital. This dance recital will be interesting. Nothing like 4-6 year olds who barely know their dance routine and then Addie who spent the whole year looking at herself in the mirror and doesn't know her routine worth crap. Should make for great videos. Anyway, I'll try and stop in later this weekend again. I hope everyone has a fantastic stress free weekend!!
 
Dance was good- think we will practice some in our basement to celebrate getting the ceiling down. Hot and humid here today.
 
Hi ladies....

It's hot and muggy here still....we are headed off to breakfast in a bit...not sure where to, but I am not cooking it this morning :mrgreen:
I am not a big breakfast eater, so cooking breakfast is not my favorite thing...

Hopefully today I can get more accomplished than yesterday...I wasn't feeling so great, so I layed on the couch quite a bit yesterday.

OH the humidity killed me yesterday- I ended up staying in the basement while mr gorgeous took all the pulled down ceiling outside. I pulled staples from the ceiling in the biggest of the 3 rooms and my hand is so sore. We had a major wind storm go through at the end of the day, and we had left the deck door open to get the tiles out- it stayed on, but appears to be gollywhompered- (my word for messed up) Today I have to pick up branches, treadmill, quiet time, laundry, bill pay, graduation party and since I am using mifi instead of my regular internet, go into to work to get caught up! Maybe throw grocery shopping in there too! Wow- tired just reading this. Have uploaded some layouts, need to do Kitty & Vera's challenge this week too.

Nana- glad that you had some down time and I hope that it helped. I was feeling quite lazy too. The sun never came out and it was cold, so it was a good day to stay inside.

Laurie I am tired just reading all of that!

Clara- I saw the pics of your girl! Too cute!!!

Linda S- have a great time with your family- how is Mom feeling?

Good morning all. Oh Laurie, I'm tired just looking at your list. And Nana Linda, sounds like a fabulous idea to spend the time on the couch. Clara, I saw photos of the dance recital...looking forward to the layouts. Mom had a bad day yesterday so Dad stayed home from all of the ballgames and the wedding. Hoping that today might be better.
 
Good Morning everyone... I'm baaaccckk!! Had a wonderful visit with my kids and grandkids, except for catching a bad cold while watching the babies, but oh so nice to spend time with them!! It has been two weeks since I scrapped anything so I am chomping at the bit to get my CS4 up and running again!! Took a few photos while I was away, but not as many as I should have and forgot to take the battery charger with me so I had to use my iphone camera for some shots. Oh well, I will try to get some layouts done today. It is a glorious day outside and my garden needs some TLC so I will be spending a good part of the day outside. Back to work tomorrow Ugh!! I am so glad to be out of the humid weather that Ontario has!! Sounds like a lot of you are also having the muggy warmth! Hope that it improves for you, we wait so long for summer that we hate to complain about the heat, but cheeezzzz!!! Back here later hopefully! Have a great Sunday everyone :wave:
