Woke up at 2:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So thought I'd pour some coffee for all of you...get that morning task out of the way!:yo:

It's been a week...or should I say two weeks? Mom starts chemo and radiation on Tuesday. Probably about 7 weeks worth... She has had an amazing attitude, which helps make everyone else's attitude better!

We have soccer games today...Sydney has one at 9 and Shaun has one at 4. Only 3 weeks left.

Maybe I can sneak in a nap somewhere...because after being up so early, I'm going to need it!:pout:

morning Linda - hope your day goes well. No coffee for me for a while- off to get fasting blood work and then coffee- just routine blood work - mainly cholesterol. Plus I have to take dh to the eye dr, get groceries, was going to do work, but that will not happen. We have an appt at 2 and dancing benefit at 5 with a party afterwords- yikes a very busy day with no naps.

Have wonderful days everyone!

Thanks for the coffee!! Can never have enough LOL
Morning lovelies! I hope you are all having a good day!

Clara: I read about your 'previous tenant'; that's just plain scary! Especially if the police came looking for him before! I would definitely not open the door for him anymore!

Stef: congratulations with your pregnancy! And belated happy birthday as well; and yes I guess those margaritas will have to wait a little while ;P

At the moment I am on the Grapevine (I-5 in California) waiting for hubby to get up so I can go to bed. I have been driving all night from Fernley, NV to Sacramento, CA; dropped our FedEx load there and now we're on the way to pick up at their competition (Conway) in Santa Fe Springs. And that is going to PA for Tuesday.

My niece Chloë is in a hospital in Groningen, the Netherlands for a week while my brother and sister in law are staying at the Ronald McDonald house there.
This hospital is attached to a university and specialized in CF so she is in good hands. They have run some more tests on her and confirmed it is indeed CF but it is not in her lungs (yet and hopefully won't) but in her bowels. She has different food now and is actually doing much better. She gained 30 grams and her number 2 is good now as well so we're all very happy about that.

I hope you will all have a wonderful day and big hugs to you all for your support! xoxo

Ahh back from morning errands, which of course took longer than planned- gearing up to get a lot done in the next hour- mr.gorgeous and I are not getting along today and we are spending it together- grrrrrr

Petra - wave when you drive through OH!

Good Afternoon "O" Family!

Just a quick fly by from me to wish everyone a fabulous weekend! This week has been crazy here in my house my little guy caught a virus that took him out of school for a week! UGH!! Poor guy! I must say though for a sickie he was such a good boy! Then I caught it and now my hubby is down for the count! :( Around and around we go!! *lol*

Hey ladies!!

Just stopping by real quick. Lots to do. I have a bunch to do today. I have to get stuff done. I have to get the downstairs together today because we are having Andrea and her fam over tomorrow. All of you are invited too.

Hi ladies! I am kinda sorta offline a bit. My computer was still crashing and Gary's been spending the day updating drivers.

Hope everyone is great!

Hello ladies - just a quick stop for me today.

First of all, thanks so much for the well wishes and the support for my technology issues. I'm slowly muddling my way through. I've been able to recover a few things, which is making me feel a little better. Tonight I'm hoping to sort through my paypal transactions to see if I can narrow down a few more stores I've purchased from. I never thought I'd actually need to remember where I got everything from. Sheesh!

DH took me to lunch today, which was nice. He even arranged for someone to hang out with our almost-2 year old, which was even nicer. It went all too fast though, and now I'm back in the chaos (also known as "home").

Seriously, does someone sneak in here while I sleep and pile up laundry and dishes and toys? Surely we don't use this much STUFF.

morning all - dancing was fab - to think people paid to watch us dance- for a good cause-supporting marine families that support marines with care packages and other good things. During the opening the songs for all branches of the military were played and people who were in or were parents to were asked to stand- I was surprised at how many there were. Now to download the photos!

Stef- glad you are finding more lost stuff

Trudy- how did the gardening go?

Clara- did you enjoy the visit?

Chris- hope Gary gets your computer running so you can play.

Linda- keeping you and your family in my prayers

Good morning ladies!! :tea: Just another drive by for me ... I'm off to work :) But I will be home this afternoon for some play time ;)

Krista, I don't know how you do it! Work, mom to 5. Lots of layouts and all of these posts. I'm so glad that you are back!

Wow Laurie...they paid to see you dance! How cool is that?! I think that people would pay to see me dance but it would be advertised as comedy!

Stef, glad that you found some of your stuff! And glad that your DH spoiled you a bit for your birthday!

Oh Chris...the dang computers. They are great when they work...and they are terrible when they don't! Good luck to Gary!

Happy Sunday! I am feeling so far behind in life. I hope I can get lots done today. Thankfully I have a relatively quiet week coming up. Working from home 1-2 days, working at MIL's 1 day, only one dr appt for Scott, so I hope to get some stuff accomplished. I really need to do a Sally Styled List for today but I don't want to scare myself.

I had a nice day yesterday. I made homemade Cream of Chicken soup for dinner- sooooo yummy! But O had a sink full of dishes now. I did homemade stock, then the soup from that. I did all of the dishes as I cooked, but now I still have the pots from dinner/ Bah humbug. I was going to make banana bread too- but thankfully Gary talked me out of it. Maybe today.

We still can't figure out what is going on with the computer. He did a system restore and updated the drivers and still- I got the blue screen of death last night again. It just comes out from nowhere.

I apologize in advance for lots of short posts until I get this figured out!

Morning ladies - we're off to church this morning and then I sincerely hope I can do absolutely nothing for the afternoon. It's been a really long week. DH is currently out playing in the yard with a backhoe - what is it with men and their "toys"? Of course, I had really hoped that DD would sleep a little longer - but with the noise he's creating she's been up for an hour already. Bummer.

Laurie - congrats! I'm afraid most people would pay to NOT see me dance, haha! What a great cause. DH is an ex-marine, so events like that are close to my heart.

Trudy - when you're done gardening, would you like to come here? ;) I LOVE all things green, but I'm afraid my thumbs are rather brown. Also, living in the desert makes it a little harder.

Chris - I feel your pain regarding the computer issues. I hope your hubby is able to fix everything. I'm not-so-patiently waiting until it's cool enough here to start making soups and stews. Yesterday it was 98 degrees, though. I might be waiting a while. Maybe I can just crank the AC and pretend...;)

Krista - have fun at work!

Clara-- have fun with Andrea- give each other hugs from me!

Laurie-- you are my hero! Not only can you dance, but people pay too. I am like Linda S- it would have to be a comedy routine. I only dance if I have a few glasses of wine in me ;)

Stef- YMG is a KEEPER!!! Good to hear that you are able to get some of your stuff back.

Linda S- hope that you got your nap in, and are feeling better today.

Hi Krista!!

Kat- hope that your family feels better soon- I am sending you the chicken soup through the compute- hope it helps :)

Trudy-- gardening....*sighs* I am so jealous.... my yard is soaked and full of wet leaves and acorns. I need to get some yard work done but it doesn't make sense to do it yet since we are going to have more rain storms coming through Monday and Tuesday.

nana- huggles to you too!

Petra- it sounds like your niece is in very good hands. Lots of good thoughts for her.

Stef- "men" and their toys! Too true!!!
I woiuld love to send you my cold weather. It is 60* and that is way to cold for me. I'd take 98* any day! The only thing I like about fall id cooking again.

Hope that all of you have a fabulous day!!!

Okay ladies...I get 2 minutes. I have work to do. I've been making the kids work but have been sitting here posting in the gallery. Lots of gorgeousness in there this weekend and I have a large goal this month. Andrea and her fam are coming over tonight and I'm making lasagna. Yummy!! Derek had to go into work for a bit but will be back later to help so I need to be self motivated so Dave Matthews will be on the radio and I am getting my butt into gear. Hugs guys!!

Happy Sunday girlies  DH and I are heading out for a hike up Mt. Tzohaleum (pronounced zoohalem) and hopefully we make it to the Cross that was put up at the top by the nuns that own all of the property on the Mtn. should take us a few hours so I am off to pack a light lunch to take with us along with some water. Will take some photos to show you all. Have a wonderful day :thumb:
