Oh my....it's just like when you head into a room to do something specific Chris, by the time you get there...you forget what you were going to do!!

I swear, I need to carry a pen and paper in my pocket if I want to remember anything...write it down as soon as it pops in my head!!!

The average person falls asleep in 7 minutes after going to bed!!

These days, it's about 25-30 minutes for me too.

I saw this fact in a recent novel that I read and didn't believe it. It takes me at least 30-45mins to fall asleep...My mind just doesn't shut off and I keep thinking of things I want to do or random thoughts and I just can't sleep.

Now my mom & sister...they can just fall sleep within mins of laying down.

LOL - these are fun!!

Here is what I found:
If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle; if the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died as a result of wounds received in battle; if the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.

I spent an extreme amount of time on the mental_floss website last night. If you've never seen this magazine, check it out: Mental Floss. It's very worth the money for a subscription. And I've started reading some of their books too. Here's the one I'm reading now. It's great for "decompression" reading before bed time. Anyway... here's a fact for you...

I saw your post and clicked on the website first...I have been there for 30 minutes now...I love quizzes!!! I bought the nintendo ds for myself just to get the BrainAge games!!;) Thanks for sharing this :D

I have seen this before about the monster!! When I was a child...for some strange reason...this monster fascinated me...as well as Big Foot....I guess it was during the time when it was so popular...people really believed because the hoaxing seemed so real. I still find myself drawing to a television story when I pass one on the guide...hehehehe!!

Ooooh...I know stuff about polar bears. I didn't finish reading yet, so someone may have already put this. LOL!!

~Polar bears have black skin.
~Polar bears fur is not actually white, but translucent and is tubular making it water repellant
~also...when you see commercials with polar bears and penguins together...completely inaccurate. There are no polar bears on the south pole and no penguins on the north pole.

Not sure...one of those really really old laws that no one has paid attention to nor rescinded in a hundred years!!
