Update on my road to recovery

Hurray- I have finally a date for the start of my radiation therapy.5th January which means I'm home for Christmas and the New Year.

During the week I'll be away and will be staying in a sort of
Ronald Mc Donald House in Inverness but at the weekends I can go home.

It's been a road with several hurdles but the end is in sight and by the end of January I can start planning my life again.

I am sooo very happy that you can start after the holidays!
Many many MANY good thoughts to you. Rest as much as you can, lots of fluids, and eat more protein as your body will need that for the cells to recover after being zapped. And lotion!! Lots of lotion so you don't burn or peel too much.
