It was a dream come true for me to go to the Netherlands in the spring and see the tulip fields...they really do look like this!

We were on a bike and barge tour and although I knew I would be excited to see the fields, what I didn't expect was the beautiful smell...especially from the hyacinth fields...it was heavenly!
It was several years ago and still I can smell it

Thanks for sharing, Heather...there is not much I like better than the tulip fields.
Here I am, a pig in tulip slop!

We have so many dutch members...have you all been to the tulip fields?

That is gorgeous! I have just added a new item to my bucket list! I have been to the Netherlands once (for work) but it wasn't in the springtime. Now, I must get my family there in the spring to see this beautiful sight.

I've seen those fields several times and it is really nice! Especially because of the different colored fields.

Oh, by the way, Maya doesn't have to travel that far. Closer to Delft she can find Lisse and the Keukenhof.

One of my friends may be going to the Netherlands next month for prep courses for a music school. I'm getting jealous he'll be there this time of year for sights like these!! STUNNING!!!
