I have the impression in recent weeks that life is so hectic.
I want to do everything, but when I think about it I feel like I do nothing: D
Working, taking photos, making invitations, chatting / drinking coffee with friends, crochet, and falling asleep in front of TV.
Am I the only one who feels like a day is far too fast over?

You are certainly not alone!! I feel that way most days and can't believe how fast the day goes by with me getting not too much accomplished! I think I was more organized before I retired!! The days seem to be so full of things to do, which I suppose is a good thing!

Oh, no not at all! Count me in this group too. Past few years I feel as I'm in parallel lane and move half slow speed than the others. I even was scrap about that.

Trudy ... I have the same feeling ...
Yesterday my granddaughter was here ... the only thing I did was cooking and playing with her - we made soup together, we played with her plasticine, playmobil, she made a painting, we went to the playground, we baked oatmeal waffels ....
Today ... I have to do my shopping ... (normally on Friday), I have to clean my house a little bit :) and when it's all done it will be time to cook again ... and I have visitors this evening ... to eat and drink something ...
Another busy day ...

Yes and no. Some days I am non-stop busy and other days is just enormous amounts of time where I do *nothing* and wander around the house.
Then I have days where everything needs to be crammed into a few hours of the day and I am left with a couple of hours in the afternoon where I am too tired to do anything, so I waste more time. Either way it goes, I am always feeling pressured by the clock and it makes me :loco:

Time is very weird, isn't it?

I'm with you Trudy. When I was working I could accomplish a full days work then come home and complete another 6 hours making formal gowns all while making supper and playing with my toddler. Now I am lucky if I can complete one household chore. Mind you I do spend a good deal of time scrapping, commenting on pages I see or working on a puzzle or reading. Hmm... maybe that is a different kind of accomplishment?

My father also comes at my home to eat 3 times a week, fortunately my husband cooks, but I'm still going shopping with him and yes older people bring concerns and that takes a lot of time, but I want as much time as possible spend with him because before you know it they are no longer there

I am feeling pent in and time deprived as well. DH got the flu on Friday morning. I spent the day getting meds and other stuff for him. It is DD Birthday....sorry...now Monday he has a resperatory infection and I had to get antibiotics. Trying to keep him from doing anything is very difficult!
