Oscraps

this made me tingle

I've seen this on FB going around. Loved the story! And shows how everybody is in a rush, and somtimes don't take time to see the little things.
I'm guilty as well, when I see people playing a guitar or whatever on the street, I walk by very fast

we would have stopped and listened. i always stopped to "encourage" alyx to listen. occassionally, around Christmas time, someone plays Christmas carols on a sax near the liquor store at the opposite end of the shopping mall where our favorite Thai restaurant is. I ALWAYS listen.

but, i'm not usually in a hurry and it's a rare enough occurrence in Oklahoma that it still catches attention I guess.

interesting to read that the kids want to stop ( they cearly have not got the rushbug yet) and the parents drag them along.

I have seen this before and it truly is amazing and sad that so many of us really don't even think to "stop and smell the roses."

Vicki- good for you!!!

well, Chris, I think it's because we just don't have street performers in OKC. You might occasionally see one downtown but it's unusual enough that it always draws a crowd. When we travel, we always stop and watch, i guess because it's new and novel for us and typically we're on vacation so we're not rushing

i would have stopped to listen i wish we had people around here who just played music out on the street or something...but you dont see that around this area....at least i havent?!?! maybe they do in downtown Lincoln....but i rarely visit there LOL
