Good morning O family!!!

As I type I am listening to my grandaughter SCREAM her head off!! Uuggghhh!!! I AM SO AT A LOSS WITH THIS SWEET BABY!!!

Okay...I just picked her up...she stopped....put her in the bouncy seat...she will be okay for about 10 minutes........then SCREAM!!!! We are considering giving her back...LOL!!! No...she has a sweet sweet little personality when she isn't screaming!!! I guess we will get through this...I am hoping that it's just boredom....it really seems that she is so NOT satisfied with things, and that she wants to be doing MORE. It's certainly not because she wants to be held...because that doesn't help!! After 10 minutes of holding her she will scream!!

~sigh~ Well...we will get through...one way or another...I do love her to pieces!! :D

So any big plans for the weekend?? Not here...I am not keeping any kids this weekend...WOW!! I am going to help my Mom get a few things done at her house tomorrow, then I need to plan out a wedding shower/cookout for my SDD...she asked if we could do a cookout with the family instead of a traditional shower. So May 2nd we are having a cookout here.

Good morning- ugh am I tired- been a long crazy week.
Last night we had Caitlyn's All District Art fest at the High School. All of the 5/6th grade band, Select Chorus, the Middle and HS bands and Chorus/Choir all participate in one big 4 hour long Festival. It is long and crowded and noisy but actually quite cool how they put it all together. Its just a long night.

I am feeling quite "fuzzy headed" and think I am going to have to rest today. Nana Linda, do you agree? :)

Hope that you can figure out what to do about Savannah- having dealt with two scream-y babies, I know how hard it is (OTOH- now dealing with a teen and tween- I'd pick the scream-y babies any day)

Good morning ladies!! So, it has officially been a crazy week!! Yesterday topped the cake. I don't have to go to work today or on Monday and I get paid for it but am not using any vacation or sick days!! how about that?? So, yesterday I was sitting at my desk when my boss called. I answered the phone all chipper like normal and he replied saying I might not have that sentiment when I heard what he had to say. Uh oh!! So he explained when they rebuilt the x-ray area several years ago, before I even started there and they were getting all the permits they needed they got the permits for the equipment but not the permits to use it. What the heck?? So we had to stop using it immediately. So, today he has some meeting with the compliance people and his boss to get it figured out. His original plan was to let me either work at the hospital today or take the day off then have me start up at the hospital on Monday. Not quite what I was planning as I get ready to move with phone calls and errands to run, but so be it, ya know? Then when I was expplaining things to Derek my boss called me again and said he just got a call from HR telling him what they had to do with me. So, while they are working it all out I will not be working at the hospital because that is not my job description and I will be on paid administrative leave. Then once a decision has been made they will either A. Re-open the clinic and things will go back to normal. Or B. They will decide to not reopen the clinic and lay me off and give me a what's it called package and then I would start collecting unemployment a little earlier than expected. So, either way I win. It is just kinda crazy and not what I was anticipating. How crazy is that?? So today I actually have a lot to do. A friend of mine is having a garage sale tomorrow so I have a bunch of stuff I would love to sell. So, I'm gonna try and do some gathering. I'm still in so much shock over this whole situation though.

Anyway, onto you...

Linda - you should maybe try some Baby Einstein for Savannah when she is sitting still. I don't know if it would help, but it could be worth a try. Ethan loved it but Addie could care less. Enjoy your weekend off. I hope you do something just for you or with your DH.

Chris - I hope the fuzzy heaad goes away soon. Yuck!! Sounds like the concert was fun, even if very long. That's crazy they couldn't find a way to shorten it up a bit. That is kinda extreme. but i'm glad it was enjoyable.

Alright ladies. I'm off to get Ethan ready for school then I'm going to climb back into bed for a bit before I start my day. I love that part of having the day off. :)

Okay first things first. Clara I finally responded to your message on FB. Sorry it took me so long. I'm having a hard time concentrating lately, which is not good considering I'm in my hardest class yet, and one that I really care about, which is about "the Exceptional Learner," aka Special Ed. We're having to look at videos and classify what disorders the kids display, and it's all very technical and I'm just.. blaaaah. Like I said to Clara in my FB post, being dizzy probably means I need iron, but I loathe the side effects.

Linda, so sorry you are listening to SCREAMS! How stressful! Baby Einstein is an idea, but then for all my kids I would use the bouncy seat, and I guess that's not working for you. Might I suggest a nice cup of chamomile for Nana?

Chris- I want Nectarine or peach with white tea and ginger, heavy on the ginger. Body spray. Also I wanted to let you know that the shea butter balm is a big hit in the family! I use it on Gen's legs, and it's also nice for my rough chapped hands that I get from washing them too much. A little tiny bit goes a looong way, it's great stuff!
Sorry you are feeling fuzzy. Rest is in order! And while I'm prescribing tea for everybody, how about some peppermint?

Nothing big this weekend, except schoolwork. Schoolwork schoolwork schoolwork it never ends.
