tablet/pen ideas

lOve the O!
My husband wants to know what I want for Christmas. I was thinking I might want a pen/tablet to use with my laptop- I am on a PC any ideas or preferences from people who use them?

Sorry, I'm no help as my tablet is over 7 years old and runs on a Mac (it's a Wacom CTE-640), but I have to sing it's praises for rescuing me every time my wireless mouse decides to stop communicating!

Jessica Sprague has a really brilliant class on using the pen tablet for scrapping - totally worthwhile doing if you've not really used one before. Mine sat, unloved because I didn't really know how to work the wretched thing, for years until I took this class, and now I use it pretty regularly.

I have had mine for a couple of years now and love, love it!! Its a Bamboo Wacom CTE450. It sure is nice to use for your scrapbooking, so much easier than a mouse and it comes with two cd's for installation on either a PC or MAC so when I switched to my MAC I didn't have any problem installing it! You would love one Laure!!

I have a Wacom Intuos 4. I love working with it, more precise than a mouse ever will be. Wacom itself has a very helpful forum

I have a Wacom and I really love it when I bother to get it out. The only thing I don't love about it is that it's not convenient to use with my laptop in my lap :) so I pretty much never use it :(

I have a Bamboo CTH-461 and ITA with Trudy. I can't scrap w/o it. I have some trouble with the drivers misbehaving but if I reboot or occasionally have to re-install the driver it works fine.
