my mum passed away on Thursday morning unexpectedly .
I was booked on the Thursday late afternoon flight and I had hoped to see her alive as things did not seem that bad on Wednesday.

The most heartbreaking thing is is that my dad ( with his Alzheimer) has not taking it in and keeps on asking why we are all there and where she is. So it hits him every time we tell him what happened. So cruel.

I am so very sorry, Ellen. I know this must be such a heart braking time for you both with the loss of your mom and to see your dad this way. Thinking of you, Ellen, and keeping your family in thoughts and prayer.

Oh Ellen...I am so very sorry sweetie!!! (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))) I wish I could say something to ease your pain. I will pray for you and your family. I hope you all kind find the strength to get through and to help your Father have some sort of understanding. I am thinking of you.

((((((((((((Ellen)))))))))))))) hugs and love from me too. From my reading about alz and dementia just tell your Dad that she's away or something like that. Don't be specific. It's best not to tell him she died. That way he will just miss her but not relive the grief part over and over.

Ellen, gecondoleerd met dit plotselinge verlies van je moeder, ik leef met je mee.
Dan wordt er zo mooi gezegd; 'dit hoort ook bij het leven maar of je er aantoe bent word je niet gevraagd'

Het is heel naar wanneer je iemand zo plotseling verliest, en zo zielig voor je vader die natuurlijk niet snapt wat er aan de hand is en je moeder zoekt, voor jou en je familie natuurlijk dubbel zo zwaar.

Ik wens je heel erg veel sterkte, neem alle tijd om te rouwen dat is heel belangrijk voor je.
