We were looking for a new series to watch and I had heard so much about Yellowstone, but for some reason, we got intercepted by Longmire. It takes place in Wyoming and Longmire is a local sheriff.

I LOVED Longmire!
I really enjoyed the characters and the pacing of it. I watch a lot of crime dramas (NCIS type stuff) and it was really refreshing to have not so frantic. The setting is gorgeous too.
ETA: What channel/service is Yellowstone on? Maybe that will be a good one to add since we liked Longmire.

You know what, Chris? That's EXACTLY what we think - I don't like "in-your-face" gruesomeness but they just give you a peak and don't to over board. We LOVE the characters, too. Longmire (the character) is SO awesome and we love the whole staff in the Sheriff's office. Lou Diamond Phillips is the hit of the show - we love him! I think Yellowstone is on Netflix.
My sister was telling me that I needed to check out Yellowstone. Guess I should check out Longmire too. What service is it on?
We're really enjoying it, Vicki. We started out to watch Yellowstone, but are enjoying the first few episodes of Longmire very much!
