Sad News about Betty White!!

I am sure that most of you have heard the very sad news about Betty White passing today, she was one of my most favourite actresses of all time. She made you laugh until your sides hurt and was such a wonderful advocate for animals as well. She will be so missed!! In 2012 I was asked to do a beginning genealogy program for a girl scout function. I needed to talk about the U.S. census and tried to think of anyone old enough to be in the (then recently released) 1940 census that they would have even a tiny reason to know. Betty White was then in Hot in Cleveland, so she was the perfect one. And it was a fun bit of research on her LA neighborhood.
