While the 8th Birthday Party was going on so I saw this thread and it was really enjoying to read all the lists:

8 things on your bucket list.

A lot had trips to different places as their wishes and then I started to think about what makes us dream of these places from the beginning. I´m pretty sure that everyone has a picture or two that pops up in the head when you think about a destination.

I would like to go to Nepal/Katmandu and Portofino in Italy. The images visualized within me is the buses and mountains in Nepal and the colorful houses in Portofino.

Where would you like to travel and what is visualized inside you when you think about it? Looking forward to see these photos from the places you would like to visit.

Oooh!! This is fun. I can't add any pictures right now but I'd love to go to niagra falls. Just that huge amount of water amazes me. I'm also super stoked about my planned trip to Ireland. I want to see for myself why it's called the Emerald Isle.

Jane - Machu Pichu is also on my wishlist. Looks like an amazing place. I'm going to Spain in the end of April and maybe we'll visit Alhambra this time. It's only 2 hours away from were we stay.

Portofino is very picturesque (and other cities in Liguria)!! There is a seafront restaurant where they stir pasta in a wheel of parmesan instead of grating the cheese over the meal! :)

I would love the go to India - I think visiting this country can be a total attack on senses - colors, smells, noise....I would love to experience that. Unfortunately, I don't think it's very safe there...I am a type of traveler who mingles with local life and doesn't stay safe in pretty, westernized hotels ...

Japan - during Spring, when trees are blooming...

Ulla May ... the Alhambra is so beautiful ... Just ask in the tourist office if it's necessary to pre-order tickets ...

On my wishlist ... Iceland, Norway, National Parks ....

I would love to hike up to Machu Pichu - and the Alps and the Scottish Highlands.

As it is, in one month, I'm going here...

I am seeing the commercials for Sandals on TV and we have been to three of their resorts and I just moan about how much I would love to go back. Same about Disney too.

But to go places where I have never been- Australia, Italy, Ireland/Scotland.

I stayed in Venice for a week last year and walked all over it. I felt like l was living in a dream. It's magical. And the concerts are out of this world. They are serious about music.

Biertan in Romania is on my bucket list. All of Romania in fact. I don't know anyone who doesn't have awesome memories of the landscape there. A young couple I know based in London recently spent a few days there just seeing Dracula's castle and thought it awesome.

Great to see all the places you wish to visit. It looks like Machu Pichu is a popular place to visit.

Cynthia - Everybody say that Alhambra is a wonderful place so that´s on my wishlist for our vacations in Spain.

Lilja - Are you going to Florida or Paris?

Romy - Fabulous photo from Japan and I can understand that´s on your wishlist.

Chris - I hope your wishes about places to go will come true some day.

Marijke - The photos you posted, are they both from Norway? Norway is fantastic to visit. There´s a really beautiful island in the north of Norway, called Andøya. Looks like the Mediterranean with the blue and green water.

Ulla-May, I'll be going to Orlando Florida :)

And the Aurora Borealis around here is amazing - we've had extra vivid and bright northern lights this winter. Very beautiful!
This is an outdoor museum in my town - the photo is from February...

No photos here but I'd definitely love to do a Europe tour again, especially during winter time. Well, at least when it's not in the height of winter. There is no snow here and I've only seen snow once when I went to Jungfrau, Swiss. It was beautiful!!!! Although I did get a headache from being so high up in the mountain. Maybe somewhere not so high with snow next time. Hehehehe.

Those Aurora Borealis photos are just so beautiful and magical. Can't imagine what it feels like if you live near the area and get a frequent view of it.

I have seen this Aurora Borealis once when I visited Iceland and it was magical.

Thanks Ulla-May. I hope everybody gets to visit the place of their dream. It's a motivation to keep on working hard. Hehehe.

These are all amazing.

My realistic idea - Venice Beach. My in-laws are living 1 mile away there, my great uncle lives in L.A. Ben would love to go to the beach and Legoland. I'm really trying to convince my husband we need to go this summer.
