INTRODUCING FOUR NEW SETS OF OVER-ITS BY MERKELEY DESIGNS!!!

Just in time for your holiday projects, Merkee introduces four (yes, 4!) brand new sets of
texture overlays for your design projects!

Just think of the possibilities!

* Use one texture or layer many!
* Use different color and paper combinations!
* Add a sense of reality to your holiday cards or special layouts!
* These design tools will enhance any project!

I found it interesting that although we know what "texture" means when we think of it as an element of art...
we also use the word to describe very rich or layered music, or a life full of stories and adventures.
Texture implies that something has more depth and reality to it. It really is a beautiful thought.

Merkee's overlays will certainly add depth and reality to your designs,
and in turn will help you document the texture in your life and memories!

Pick up these fabulous texture overlays in Merkee's Store HERE!

Or go right to a single product by clicking on the preview images above!

I hope you have as much fun with these tools as I'm having!!!

These are so easy and handy to use! when you are working on a layout and can not find the perfect paper/colour, just make them with these overlays!!

Phylis, put one over your solid color or paper or whatever your heart fancies, and then play with the blending mode of Merkee's overlay. I invariably start with overlay or soft light. You I think are a much bolder 'colorer' than I usually am.

hth!

Thanks everyone!!! Smiles here.

Phylis, Maureen was right on in her directions. (Thanks Maureen) They are really easy to use. Just plop on your layout above whatever layer you want to use it on and then play with the blend modes until you get something you like. Play with the opacity levels too.

The overlays give texture and depth to paper or are great used as blending tools like Dady used on her layout. You can use them on elements too.

The important thing is to just experiment and have fun!!

Oh I had commented on Dady's wonderful textures in that layout and didn't even realize what it was...perhaps I should read the credits more carefully...but at least I know what I like :-)

thanks. i bought some of these last week, i think, and i wasn't QUITE sure how to approach them! now i know the answer: play!! :becky: isn't it funny how, with our digi art, that is so often the answer? what fun!

Merkee!! these are fabulous!! love me some texture!! and you can even combine a couple of overlays to get some unique textures as well!!!
