My sister brought me several boxes of Aunt Mary's photos a few weeks ago.
I remember Aunt Mary telling me stories of when she and Uncle Jim lived in Afghanistan.
Jim's tales of going through the Khyber Pass were hair-raising.
I sorted through the photos - then winnowed them down from 50 or so to tell their story.

Wow, Kay! What a fabulous piece of history you have here! Your aunt and uncle must be amazing, courageous people. Afghanistan has never been kind to most outsiders. I love, love,love your storytelling!
