Ah, I know those mornings. Thankfully we've only got rain today. Hopefully it stays that way as we're on the road today!

Oh Phyllis- I was hoping it was all some sort of halloween joke. We're supposed to be getting anywhere from 5-10 inches. This is nuts!

PS: I am sure I would have said the same as you :tape:

It started in some parts of NJ already - ugh!!!

Phyllis is it a lot of snow? Did you see Anna's newsletter this morning? She's got LOADS of snow - I'm never moving to Colorado, that's for sure!

Bwhahahaha!!! I would have said the exact same thing Phylis!!

We did however, have sleet all afternoon yesterday!!! But since it was nearly 80 degrees the day before (I want that back ) it melted as it hit the ground.

Anna- when my brother and SIL were in CO in May to adopt their son, one day it was 80* and the next it snowed. Is that normal for CO?

This is very bizarre for NJ.

You should see it outside my window right now!!! Everything is white, including my black dog who ran out there to take a super quick sprinkle!

looks like the mountains east and southwest of us are getting slammed. 8" in Frostburg, MD several hours ago. our snow is wet and it looks like it's slowing down now. (ca. 1 p.m.) my poor daughter drove 3 hours to State College ,PA yesterday for today's football game, got there, heard the revised forecast for 8-10 inches, got back in the car and drove right back home. :smow:

Colorado is different from the snow in the Northeast, i think. my sister used to live there and always said that an hour after getting a foot of snow, the sun comes out and everything is beautiful. where i live it's gray and crappy from November through March and maybe even April. :twitch:

I feel for anyone getting snow that is not ready for it yet. It is early. Just think of how beautiful it looks. I do miss that aspect of it.

We had about 1.5minutes of snow late this afternoon. I ran to get my phone and it had stopped by the time I got back downstairs. Oh well...

Phylis, my son went to Frostburg and winter was Oct through April? I mentioned something about this one fall when I realized I wouldn't be driving west again that year to visit him because of the weather. He said..Mom, it's not called Springville!!

Yvon.... i think thats spot on :(
We had crazy heat waves here in NJ, than a Cat 3 Hurricane, now 19 inches of snow in October.

My school district has used 4 snow days already and it isn't even "snow season" yet.

Like Yvon, we've got glorious weather here in London. It's 17ºC and I'm sitting in just a T-shirt - in November! Totally crazy.
