iPad Question

I'm probably the only person on this planet, besides Peppermint, who doesn't have one...So I have a question: Can you purchase and download to an iPad and then transfer to your computer at a later time?

Yes, provided you have a Mac. Don't know for a PC, although you can run iTunes on Windows, so maybe yes as well.

You download via iTunes, so any apps you buy on your ipad will update onto your iTunes account on your computer.

Yes, you can, Anna - I've purchased your products on my IPad and then downloaded them to my computer the next day -
This is the easiest way to buy digital supplies.

You can download them to your IPad and then transfer via iTunes which also runs in Windows PC. Or transfer via Dropbox or Wireless Networking.

Great fun shopping in the middle of the night

*heart* my iPad.....belong to the 'cloud' called Dropbox...brilliant!

Being a teacher I do all my work on my main computer and save everything to Dropbox (free storage to begin with) and then can access it anywhere on anything!

Big beautiful lap top stays home and iPad and mini do the facilitating.

Anna, you do understand that once you get an iPad, you'll soon be on the road to a full MacBookPro!

I don't have an iPad of my own but can have dh's most any time. He wants me to get one so HE can have the iPad2 and I'll get the old one. Not likely to work out quite that way...

Anna, lately I've been seriously thinking of getting an Android tablet. I like the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Motorola Xoom. I'm hoping for some insane sales close to Christmas so I can justify it.

I still don't think I can ever go iPad (or iAnything), but the idea of having a tablet beckons to me.

I have the kindle size samsung galaxy tab. My old eyes do not do driod phone. Great for work to see the O, which is blocked on our network. Love it for travel,finally a GPS i can see!! love it for book reading too. Bigger tabs have keyboards you can attach if you don't like the on screen one.
