Oscraps

I'm a bit shocked

It's not mentioned because we all hang out here and not at DST. This is the happening place to be!!!

What they said- I've tried several digi homes over the past 10 years- and have to say- this is the most active and longest I have every been active- the O rocks.

OK - I went and checked it out and I haven't even heard of most of the stores mentioned there, but I know the O has some great products and designers. Just wish I had more time to hang out here.

and now I'm puzzled by the reactions here .

the only reason I posted this here was because i thought they were missing an important one .

I'm no fan of DST either but the question was not about forums but about the shops. I did expect that Oscraps shop would have been mentioned as a favourite place to go shopping, I'm surprised it's not as well known /populair in digiworld as I thought it was.

You're right! They're missing an important one, but that's just their bad luck. We have the best designers ever! (Ofcourse i did promote the O there)

In my digiworld journey, I have found that I shop mostly where I hang out in the forums, or follow favorite designers around. Once I found my style that was where I hung out and shopped. When new products were hyped in the forums- I bought- once I stopped collecting, I began to do challenges which enabled me to use what I bought and improved my scrapping abilities. I think even though the post was about favorite shop, I think the two are tied together. Many of the posts spoke of friendly forums, challenges and gallery comments in addition to the shop itself.

Exactly Laurie - once you find a site you're comfortable with, there's no need to go looking elsewhere, hence my lack of knowledge of many of those other shopping sites. :first:

might I just say.... I posted a thread at MSA not too long ago and though I did not ask about favorite STORES... I did ask about favorite designers... and several ladies from Oscraps were mentioned over and over again. So... as far as I'm concerned.... MSA's got nothing but love for Oscraps!..... and the fact they are one of the 4 participating stores in the huge MSA collab says just as much! :clap2:

I would also add that I think with all the turmoil and changes at DST in the last year or so, that things are a bit different there then when I started scrapping too. I don't think anyone thinks it's a bad place, but I think attachments are different for some people now than they used to be.

I'm surprised too. The O has been around for 5 years so I would think there
are some fans. I may be biased but I think our designers rock! ;) xoxoxosue
