I can't make a Photo Album on Facebook

Without going into confusing details- I can't make a new photo album on FB. I usually start a new album every month for my scrap pages and now I can't. I can post a single photo to my Wall but it won't let me make a new album to put it in. Soooo bizarre!

Anyone else having this issue?

Hhmmmm, mine has been switched for a while now.... Every time I feel like I have figured FB out- they go and break it again LOL

I always have trouble with that too. I sometimes figure it out and sometimes give up. Good luck.

I just got something to work...try this if you have not already...

Click on your name
Click on Photos
select 'add photo' without being in any of the albums
upload and it will go to an 'unnamed album'
then choose to edit the album and give it a new name

I do exactly what Diane said to make my albums.

FB....bah!!! They keep me agitated about photos...you get used to one method and then...bam.....they change again...and did you realize that you can now get full screen on the photos?? not my favorite choice with them...makes it easier for someone to get a good copy. hwell:

I tried that too Diane. It automatically out it into my Wall Photos Album. I tired to move it to a new album and there was no way to do that either.
FB is totally nuts! LOL

Created a new album for my vacation photos without problems. Have you tried again? Maybe FB had some kind of temporary hick up?

I'm still trying to find a way to move some of my Wall photos into different albums on FB. Can anybody tell me if there's a way and, if so, how do I go about doing it? Thanks!

Yes you can move them....If you click on the album you want to remove a photo from to another album, Click on EDIT ALBUM and your photos come up..on the photo you want to move, hover over it and in the upper right hand corner of the photo is an arrow, click on that arrow and a drop down menu pops up...click on MOVE TO OTHER ALBUM and a new window pops up with a drop down list of all your albums...and pick the album and click the MOVE button.

Other suggestion from mine is ... try with another internet explorer, if you used firefox and failed, tried i.e ... or chrome ... or opera .... it might work

Ugh, I tried again, thinking that it was a FB hiccup, and still no luck in making a new album. When I try to create a new album, I get an "Open File" Dialog Box come up. I can move photos from album to another, but I can make a new one. This was in Chrome., FF and IE. Maybe I need to try Opera next! LOL
