How much time do you spend on your cell phone?

Periodically, I check my iPhone to see how much time I've spent on mine. The "average time" people spend on their phones is 5 to 6 hours a day! That sounds pretty bad, but it's cumulative and iPhone breaks it down for you. So, I'll tell you mine if you'll tell me yours.

I looked at my "daily average" for the last week and it's 5 hours and 26 minutes. In my defense, I DO get a lot of text messages and those count too. I listen to music on mine too, so I'm surprised it's not higher than what it is.

I run mine up listening to music and like I said, I receive and send a lot of texts. I also listen to audio books, occasionally.

I think I spend too much time on my phone but I checked my average time and it says 59 minutes for today and it is almost 6p.m. here so ... probably not to much, right??

That's not a lot, Chris especially if you were using a cookbook.

ummm, not much for me........... I don't have a one of those smart phone thingy's :giggle4: , so on average around 1hr a week, unless I am talking to my daughter or sister and then it is around 2hrs for that week! :floorlaugh:

Ona @wombat146 IPhone breaks your hours down into what apps you use the most. My most used is texting. I text all day with my family and a few friends - so my text use is the highest. If I talked on the phone that much, I'd never get anything done. My family are all huge texters and we all voice text now, so you don't even have to touch the keys. :floorlaugh: I also listen to audio books some nights and that also counts; so does listeing to music. You're STILL smart not to have one of these smart phones. My hubby only uses his to talk and text his boys, once in awhile. He's not much of a phone person. He'd be happy with a walkie-talkie. :rotfl:

Now you're getting up in my range. I was looking at my average for a week ago and it was 10 hours. I must have listened to a lot of audio books and music that week. :rotfl:

have no idea - is there a way to see it. my ipad gives me a weekly average but never seen anything like that on my phone.
