Oh dear, that sounds awful! Anyone I know who has had gall bladder issues says that the pain can be worse than labor pains. I hope you get everything sorted out soon!

My father had a few attacks of gallbladder infection at Christmas, very painful.
He had surgery last Tuesday.

A speedy recovery !

Oh no, Mary! I know that is so painful. I had 13 episodes of gallstones before they took my gallbladder out. I hope they will resolve your problem soon. I'm glad you're feeling better and hope that the pain does not come back. Take care & lots of rest. (Sometimes, a few sips of warm Apple Cider Vinegar help to ease my pain. I know it sounds weird but worked for me) :)

Fed up

Hi everyone just an update on how I am feeling which is fed up at the moment the meds the hospital gave me have dreadful side effects they are very strong Antibiotics one is CO-TRIMOXAZOLE 960mg twice a day and METRONIDAZOLE 400mg three times a day I have to take them for 10 days I have struggled with going to the loo every 10 to 15 min my downstairs burns like mad I feel sick have tummy ache and my asthma has flared up and I have swollen feet like elephants …..anyway last night was the worst I stayed up all night in the recliner as I was going to the loo every 10 min then it went to 20 min then 30 min it slowed a bit by 5 am ...I phoned the doctors and was lucky enough to get in yesterday morning with my own doctor who said I had to persevere with the tablets as they prevent me from getting sepsis he also said the burning was thrush from the antibiotics as they are so strong now I have more meds … FLUCONAZOLE one tablet which hopefully will get rid of the thrush PREDNISOLONE for a week to help with the asthma and METOCLOPRAMIDE one three times a day for feeling sick and tummy ache I finish the antibiotics on Monday and hope and pray I can get through them without any more discomfort I am so down and tearful which is not me this Gall Bladder infection has taken it's toll and still no letter for an MRI scan yet.Thank you for listening I needed to get this off my chest.

Just to add I had a good sleep and the thrush and tummy meds have kicked in nicely I feel so much better.
