Hi from Southern California

Hi all. Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Joanie, and live in Southern California with my dh of 22 years and our 19 yr old dd. I work as a graphic artist and structural drafter. Of course I can't do enough scrapping, and love photography, tatting (a type of lace making), polymer clay, and working with our horses.

Still trying to get myself acclimated, but am looking forward to learning more about everyone here.

Hi Katherine - I live in Poway, we bought a home here right after getting married, and I work in Sorrento Mesa - which you would probably know is technically La Jolla, but I see it more as Mira Mesa. Poway is wonderful - but I could do with a bit less heat at times

Hi Joanie! I didn't recognize you without your glasses! LOL Actually, I didn't know what your paid job was either! Live, read and learn. DH's Coast Guard son lived in Poway for a while but they moved north when he was splitting time between San Francisco and San Diego. I do recall those hot dry hills. Hope you're safe from fire this year.
