Hi from Bubby originally from the Gold Coast Qld, now Bribie Island. Bubby is a strange name, my hubby in his infinite wisdom decided to start calling me Bubby Pet Grub virtually from Day one we met, why I have no idea, I once asked, his reply with his silly trade mark grin, I don't know it suited you, well it stuck and I love it, wouldn't change it for the world, sometimes I forget my name really is Margaret. I have been scrapping for a long time now and I am around a couple of forums. I have shopped here but never participated in any challenges just never had the confidence to put my work out there, till a certain friend a couple of years ago convinced me otherwise, and with encouragement from hubby I eventually started doing so. I have been looking at the challenges here for a while, and today I made the big decision why not, so here I am looking forward to playing hopefully I won't mess up with the posting.

Another Aussie here (did my username give it away?? :)), I am down in Tassie but we used to live in Grafton, northern NSW. We moved down here as it just got too hot for us, have been down here since 2018 now and I love it! :) My daughter lived in Gold Coast for many years before moving down south to Bowral to be with her partner but my three sons all still live in Grafton. Looking forward to seeing your layouts!
 
Hi, Bubby, and welcome to the O! I just love your name. When I first came to the O, years ago, I was a bit nervous about joining the challenges and sharing my layouts too, but I'm so glad I did. I've learned a lot by participating, and have met so many wonderful friends here. So, please, just jump right in and enjoy the adventure!! ♥

Welcome to the family! I'm sure you'll do great with the posting. I love your nickname. I know they sometimes come along strangely. My 2X great aunt was named Pauline. When my Dad and his first cousin Euvonda were little they couldn't say Polly. It came out Potty. So she was Aunt Potty for almost 60 years!

Welcome to the O! It is filled with such wonderful people and the art is mind blowing. I thought the challenges were scary when I first started, but I have tried and loved so many things I never would have thought I'd do. That nickname is fantastic, especially the way it came about. No judgement here, we just want to share your love of art and everyone has their own unique voice.

We are so happy to have you here and look forward to seeing your wonderful layouts! I love your nick name! Mine is Evie. However, when we were first married, my husband called me "small fry". I am so glad he stopped because now he would have to call me "extra large fries"! :floorlaugh:
