My name is Stacey! I'm a very happy go lucky kind of gal ("smiley"). I live in mid Michigan. My hubby and I are empty nesters this year. It's been quite an adjustment. I have 2 young adults: Son (21) and Daughter (18). We have a fur baby named Mieke (mee-ka) who is 8. And I work full time from home for a great company.

Hubby and I love traveling and visiting national and state parks. We just love nature! I also love photographing EVERYTHING! LOL. Which makes scrapbooking even more fun! I started paper scrapping back in 2000 when I was pregnant with my son. I transitioned to digital scrapping in 2008. I actually taught myself how to make paper and elements for kits (to save money). I found that I much preferred just creating layouts so I joined a few Creative Teams. I've been doing this for several years now and just love it.

So excited to get to know everyone!!!

It has to be strange having your kids out of the house, that is something I am trying to come to terms with myself. Mine are 27 and almost 25 and still at home. My DD is getting married next year and DS has been wanting to move out since before Covid. Life has other plans sometimes but they are getting closer to leaving.
My DH and I have been doing a little bit of hiking. My son is a park ranger for the County and he gives us neat tips on where to go and what to see although we can't go everywhere because my 2 dogs *must* go with us, And we are saps that won't tell them No ;)

Good evening Stacey! Welcome to the O! I have a son (20) who is living at home while attending college and a daughter (19) who is currently doing a study abroad in Germany. I'm getting close to that empty nest. We have two dogs...Andie is a 100 pound Newfypoo and Hayden is a 55 pound Sheepadoodle.

We moved from Iowa to Florida 4 years ago. I love scrapping and I love taking pictures... Today I got some pictures of a gator. That didn't happen in Iowa!

Anyway, you will love it here at the O! Nicest people in the world. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
