My name's Kim. I'm a wife, mother of a brand-new 3 month old boy, part-time designer/intern/writer/coordinator/whatsit, and part-time library assistant. I live in the wonderful college town of Columbia, MO. Full of good food, good art, and good people. It's just perfectly in between small town and big city. You should come visit. :)

Since I've just had the beautiful boy I mentioned above, I wanted to get hime a baby book, but I couldn't find anything I liked. So, having some design experience, I decided I'd just design one myself... which led me to digital scrapbooking, which eventually (through learning about Paislee Press via The Daily Digi) brought me here.

I've been pondering where I'd really like to jump in and get my feet wet and O scraps seems like just the place. I love, love the minimalism of some of the designers and I've already fallen in love with Paislee Press, One Little Bird, and Three Paper Peonies.

I just downloaded my first kit and, while the designer in me kind of wants to run off and start designing my own things, I've decided that I should probably learn some more about digital scrapbooking first. :)

So, here I am. I'm plugging in here, and going to jump in to some of the challenges.

Welcome to Oscraps. I live near Des Moines, Iowa so I know right where Columbia is. I think that you will love it here. I do! Can't wait to see you jumping into the challenges.

Great to see you jumping in with the challenges straight away. You've come here at exactly the right time did you see the Novel collab. kit just made for you librarians it seems

Woo, another Missourian! I think Missouri is one of the best kept secrets of the country, and I'm a transplant.

Welcome to Oscraps. My family originated in a little town called Warsaw Missouri although most of them transplanted to Michigan which my parents transplanted from there to Washington. LOL!! But I've been there a few times and went to Basic Training at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Not that I saw much of Missouri then...although I did get a tattoo then.

Anyway, you picked a great time to arrive here at Oscraps, during out B2S event. I saw you posting in the forums and was trying to figure out your name and here I find you and your name here. So...welcome to Oscraps Kim...I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Hi Kim and welcome to Oscraps. You sure chose the best place to get your feet wet. We're a happy crazy friendly bunch. I'm Eva, the resident Swede ;) My DH is a library assistant too, he's gonna start the librarian education next year. I'm a SAHM with a teenage son, 2 crazy cats & a turtle. We live in Orsa, which is a small town in the middle of Sweden.

Looking forward to see photos of you precious little boy ... enjoy it while it lasts - he'll soon be a teenager ;)
