Hi! My name is Jen and I'm from South Central WA state. I have been married for 9+ years to my awesome husband and we have two furbabies, Sadie and Penny. For the last 3 years, I've been pretty home bound due to a chronic illness and digital scrapping has become my outlet to help me cope. 1 year ago, I found the world of digi scrapping and never looked back!! I love being able to make pages and have this creative outlet. It helps distract me from the illness and gives me something fun to do that I enjoy!

So hello from me, I'm a newbie here and look fwd to getting to know y'all better!

Hi Jen, welcome to Oscraps! It is great to have you here.
I also have a chronic illness (my whole family has late stage lyme disease) and i hear ya on having scrapping being part of your sanity! I don't know what I would do without it.

Can't wait to see your LO's and I hope that your fur-babies are featured in them too!

Oh man, my heart goes out to you and your family. We spent a couple years wondering if I had lyme, too, so I've done a ton of research into it, etc and know the pain and anguish it can cause!! *HUGS* Our results have sent me down another path and we think we finally found what I have and although it is not lyme, it's similar in the symptom set and no fun to have! Thx for the welcome and yes, I'm sure you'll see many pages of the furbabies! :)

Welcome, again, Jen.... Sorry to hear about your chronic illness .... There are a couple of us here that suffer too. It can be soooooo frustrating.

I look forward to seeing more of your lovely pages in the gallery!

welcome to the O Jen and I fully agree how digiscrapping can help to cope with the devastating power of a chronic disease . Where would we be without this outlet? have fun here

The "not knowing" is so incredibly difficult, too. Much luck and health to you on this "lovely" *cough-cough* journey. My pm box is always open if you ever need to rant or cry or just talk to someone who gets it, esp. if you are in the group of "but you don't look sick" illness.

I also have 3 cats and a dog (plus two kids) and the fur-babies help me so much, especially my dog. Can't wait to see yours too :)
