I just finished my first bout with Covid. I was so grateful that I had avoided it. It wasn't bad for me. How about you?

I haven't had it as far as I know. I had a bad cold this past autumn but when I tested myself at home I was negative. Fingers crossed!

As Angie, I don't I have had it ... I had a bad cold in November ... but I tested twice and negative twice ...

No Covid for me so far... keeping my fingers crossed that I can avoid it! Actually I haven't even had a cold for almost 3 years. Sure hope I did not jinx myself now :holysheep:.

OMG, I didn't want to vote! LOL
I have avoided it so far, somehow. I am The Last Campbell standing as the rest of my family, including my ILs, and BIL and his family all have had it.
In my immediate family, I think it's just me and my parents left *knocking VERY LOUDLY on wood* since my brother had it a few weeks ago.

Hugs to you and your folks Chris! May it remain forever so!

I'm one of the lucky ones who got Covid and Omicron! I was so sick two times !! LOL :peace2:
My children, my parents, my husband's parents have all got sick... the only one who has managed to slip away so far is my sweet husband, fingers crossed that he stays that way!!! :pleasantry:
We started to think that maybe people with blood type B have a higher chance of getting sick than people with blood type O... Does anyone here have blood type O and get corona? It is very interesting

My husband had Covid and he is type B , he was very sick! I still managed to avoid getting it, even though we shared the same bed, ate together and never wore a mask around each other, my immune system must be really good!! I am type A blood type, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it#dkwho knows??

Our whole family had it when a vaccinated co-worker came to work with it and infected the entire group. Since we are in close quarters, Meli and I got it as well. It was mild like a cold, but Meli did have the body aches.

I am fully vaccinated but got it twice, the first in late spring and the second in late summer. The first was bad for a week and the second bout was bad for 3 wks and still took another 2-3 weeks after that. I sure hope I stay healthy now.

Thankfully, no. I thought I had it once but tested negative. My husband has a pretty serious lung condition, so we both got the vax and one booster. We're big believers in the flu shot, too, have had that for many years. I know we avoid a lot of cold germs by getting that. Some of the other members of the family have had Covid, but I keep them away. I always told them I'd stand on my porch and wave to them. We really self-isolate when anybody has tested positive.

I've had it but hubby and son have not. I was sicker than I've been in years, but it wasn't all that bad. Worst part was I did lose sense of smell and taste. That is still not fully back yet.

My taste went funny. It was really muted, but everything tasted too salty and metallic. I did lose my sense of smell for a few days. It's never been as strong since though.

All the four of us - myself, hubby and both kids - had Delta back in 2021. It was a month of our life we will never get back. Raging fever, extreme fatigue when drinking a glass of water was so exhasting, I would fall asleep on the chair next to the water cooler. Even the kids slept 23 hours a day... we all lost weight... interest in life... we were like a famly of zombies...the rest of the family recovered nicely, but I kept caughing for months, and I couldn't smell anything for a year and a half. And the brain fog - gosh, never have I ever felt so stupid in my life.

Olga, that is so awful, how hard it must have been for each of you to be able to help each other. But you, as a mom-- it's heartbreaking :(
