has anyone had(or I guess have) both Blogger and Wordpress?

If so, which one do you like better and why? I'm trying to decide which one to use and I don't know much about blogging so looking for some experienced blogger opinions please

I've been using Wordpress but thinking of changing to Blogger as I hear it is easier to use and there more widgets/gadgets you can use with blogger.

I'm totally in love with Wordpress, but I've only ever used the self-hosted wordpress. Most people who really get into blogging eventually move from blogger to wordpress I've noticed.

I use a self-hosted installation of WordPress, too, and adore it. I started on Blogger eons ago, though.

I'm feeling pretty good then- since I started on wordpress, the free version and have been able to do most of things I want to- but use it mainly for CT stuff

I was going back and forth on this Blogger vs WordPress thing and wanted to use WordPress at first but then as I started to attempt to set it up it seemed like it wasn't so easy (and this was the free version). I don't know - maybe it's me... for whatever reasons I can't even remember now but I will be using it for CT stuff so I will maybe just go with Blogger and then when I get big girl about it I'll switch

moved from blogger to wordpress, and love it every second since then.
Was tired of blogger and its limited option.
Wanted to have MY piece of web, mine mine mine... wordpess is much better for that.

but for basic stuff blogger is fine though ( I have used it for mor ethan 3 year ;-) )

I started out w. blogger. I switched to Wordpress a few years ago (maybe 2?) Anyway, I found it to be easier for a non-tech brain to work with. I t has been a while, so i don't know if blogger updated anything to make it easier to customize, but I know that i was able to very easily customize my banner (header??) , my columns, add widgets. I also am able to have it connected to FB too.

Blogger people, which one do you think is easier for a kid to use? Caitlyn needs to do a site for 4-H, and I was going to show her Wordpress, since that is what I use. but is Blogger easier for her, you think?

After Blogger got bought by Google, I think it got simplified. When we teach blogs in the technology class I teach, we use Blogger. Most people seem to like it pretty well. I think if you are not going to go crazy wanting to customize and want a simple way to start blogging, then Blogger is a pretty good place to start. (From the teacher's perspective.)

I use blogger for personal blogs/church (kaytebug2002.blogspot.com or kidz-zone-ss.blogspot.com)

I use self hosted wordpress as websites for the district (www.nwdist.org - but the site's down tonight argh) and for the Wesley Foundation (www.uawesley.org) oh and the oscraps blog is wordpress.

I can offer help.... I do know word press has been easy to learn (since August).... and I've used blogger since 06.....
