How is everyone in the path of the hurricane doing? Christy? others? It looks dreadful. I feel guilty up here in the Pacific NW where we've had scrumptious weather for the entire summer. Praying you are all well and safe.
 
I don't watch news and I'm not hear anything yet, usually I learn when start some animal charity campaign. So do the situation is worse?! I hope not! And hope at least the people are been prepared and doing well!
What happen with the Nature?! We deal with awful wild fires here.
 
Isn't it terrifying to see all of the highways and home flooded? I saw on FB that Sally and her fam are fine. Courtney has had power off and now on again, I think.
I am heartbroken to read about al of these people whose home are lost. :(

I am going to see what kind of $ I have in my Paypal account today. Houston Humane Society has been listed as one of the charities in need so if I can even send $5 I will do that.
 
We also here follows the news on the TV ..
I have just called my brother, he leaves in Texas, fortunately not in Houston. he is in San Antonio and works in Austin. Its terrifying. Hope everyone is safe !
 
I haven't seen anything on our news here so not apprised of the whole situation but hurricanes are devastating. Prayers sent to all who need them.
 
The photos of the highways are insane. I read that the water levels and flooding are so high that the storm is gathering energy from that water as well as the ocean. Normally, the storm would stall a bit over land. So crazy. :(
