Guess what I spent yesterday doing.....

in an attempt to avoid the ironing pile that is shouting at me from the back of my laundry room, I decided to scan the latest school photo that arrived. Then I scanned the ones from last term, then last year, then I sought out all those I didn't appear to have done previously and I ended up scanning, editing and resaving 26 school pics (I have 3 kids, and hey, one has to buy them all!).

I even scrapped with a few of them!

Course, the ironing is still guilt tripping me but I do at least feel like I've achieved something at least this weekend!!

I am so old- they didn't have scanners when my kids were in grade school! I remember when we bought our first color printer- it was $350- yowza!

I think that was time much better spent. I NEVER iron...I have no problem wearing wrinkled clothing...always have :-)

Thank you all.

And I hear you Diane - I used not to iron either. But the kids school uniforms demand it, even though I buy "non-iron" shirts - maybe it's because they spend so long getting squashed in the ironing bag!

Fabulous (who needs ironing anyway?)! I was going to scan old photos yesterday, too, but I have to find my scanner insert so that I can do negatives and in order to do that, I'd have to clean my work area! Great page, too.

Selena great layout using your scanned photos!! Good on you girl!! To hell with the ironing, you could do that in front of the t.v. while you watch Downton Abbey LOL!!

I also scan pictures every now and then. we have an older scanner, connected to an older laptop and it takes some time to scan a picture, so if I wanted (don't want to iron) I could multitask!!

I did the same too, another mom that has to buy all the school photos that my boys are in! I had a box full of them and spent a day scanning all just in case my dog decided to go for them. He's in a chewing mode and I worry what he's up to all the time! Anyway, have decided to keep the box in a safe place but it's better having them in digital format! Luv scrapping them!
