Favorite Holiday Movie

I love Elf, I love the Sound of Music and Sissy, but somehow we always end up watching Die Hard on Christmas Eve.

I love The Sound of Music! Julie Andrews is such an amazing actress!

I don't have a favorite holiday movie, but i do have a tradition to watch a dutch tv show "All you need is love" at christmas eve.
In that show the host will bring couples/families who live separated in different countries back together to celebrate the holidays.

It's a Wonderful Life is probably tied with Miracle on 34th Street for me! And I have to admit that I love Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation...probably because it causes my husband to laugh so hard each time he sees it!

Hallmark Christmas movies, I really love Hallmark movies! the Elf is a good one, and some funny movies like A very Nutty Christmas, Holiday in handcuffs, and Christmas with the Kranks are my favorite holiday movies.

UGGGGGHHHHHH- A Christmas Story!!! LOL! DH's favorite and he wore it out for me the first few years of our marriage, HA! He and his younger brother actually did the tongue to frozen pole thing!!!!
I don't have a favorite "Christmas" movie. Hmmm. But I do LOVE The Chosen series!!!!!!

It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Story for oldies, for comedies, I'd say Elf, National Lampoons Xmas Vacation and Christmas With The Kranks.

My kids always loved Home Alone, Elf, The Grinch and Scrooged on Christmas Eve. We have finally taken Scrooged and Home Alone out of the line up! Another ffave is A Child's Christmas in Wales based on the Dylan Thomas poem.
