Fabulous gift for my birthday!

I got the most amazing gift for my birthday yesterday. I almost burst out in tears.
My oldest son Marten made a painting for me. He knows I love cows and for the last month he has been working on a painting for me almost every afternoon.
I am so proud, I just got to show it here!

In 2019 I took the week of my birthday off work and told my kids I wanted to go somewhere fun, and did they want to come along? We rented a cottage about 2 hours away on Lake Huron and went swimming, hiking, kayaking, and other touristy things. It was my intention for us all to share the cost since it my idea, but they decided to pay for everything. Not huge, but it sure did this mother's heart good!

What an amazing painting and what a thoughtful gift! One gift I remember is a statue that had been accidentally broken by the door hitting the shelf it was on too hard. My oldest daughter searched and searched until she could find a replacement. That meant so much to me that she knew how much it meant to me and wanted to replace it.
