It was a pretty good sized earthquake, around 7.7 but centered off the coast of northern BC in the Queen Charlotte Islands near Prince Rupert. Luckily, there are no reports of major damage and the tsunami warning has been cancelled for most areas. I'm in southern central BC and we didn't feel anything here.
