@Caro asked about Show Binge Watch and mentioned that she is on the last season of Scandal and is "feeling meh about finishing it." I think we have all been there. After a bunch of seasons or episodes, do I *really* want to keep going only because I watched [insert number] already? Or do I cut my losses because it's not worth wasting my time?
Typically, we keep watching. We are on the last season of Fear the Walking Dead and I am finding it silly and boring. But it's the last season and I have watched from the beginning... so we keep going on (and on...).
OTOH, we bailed on You towards the end of the third season. It was getting repetitive and I wasn't liking the characters anymore so we stopped. Them was another one we stopped watching after a particular episode (and if you know, you know). I wanted to watch it, thinking it was going to be more of a supernatural thriller, but That Episode was too real-life brutal and turned me off and turned my stomach
What do you do when you realize you aren't really enjoying a show? Which ones do you stick with and which ones have you given up on? Do you ever go back after a break and try again?
