Did you learn how to cut hair during Covid?

This weekend my husband asked me to cut his hair. I have been cutting his hair ever since the lockdown days of Covid. I watched numerous YouTube videos on how to do a good haircut with the clipping shears and also with just scissors. Over the past few years I have become pretty good at it LOL. Although I don't think I would want to tackle really long hair. Did any of you learn to cut hair, or any other new to you skill during Covid??

I learned how to cut my kids hair (mumble) years ago. I have "trimmed" my hair around my face a couple of times since Covid hit. Will have to have it professionally cut sometime this summer when the back gets too long.

I cut David's hair once during the height of the pandemic. He liked the way it looked. I hope to never do it again. lol

I trimmed Gary's hair a few times but that was it. Caitlyn trimmed Scott's a couple of times too. Cait and I just put out hair in ponytails.

I haven't been to a hair dresser for 15 years or something like that. When we moved here, I couldn't find a hair dresser that I liked, started doing it myself. Had the BEST hair dresser when we lived in Uppsala, and got spoiled. Now I won't pay for something that looks crap, I can do crap myself. LOL

My hubs bought a shearing kit and I buzzed his hair for him during covid but I won't say I did a very good job. I send him to a hair salon now.

I just let mine grow and it's very long now. I went to the beauty salon about a year ago for the first time since before the lockdown. My hairdresser had moved away about 6 months prior to that and all I need to do is keep my bangs trimmed and I trim the dead ends off when they need it. My dd talked me into going and having more lowlights/highlights put in - I haven't been back since.

I have wicked sharp hair cutting scissors that will cut the ends of your fingers off if you're not careful. I learned years ago how to cut hair and I've cut my own hair off and on for many, many years. I cut my hubby's hair for years, too.

I trim my hubbys hair from time to time. I have been doing it for 37 years, and even used clippers back in the day. I am worried everytime I do it.

I've been cutting everyone's hair for ever - buzz cut for hubby and the boys and just a straight scissor cut for my ma daughter... My mom used to my hair in straight line too until I was about 35... but now that my DD and I we both got shorter hair - an occasional visit to a salon is needed.

Well, I don't know about LEARN but I DID ;) . Just a trim of the sideburns and back with comb and scissors. He was looking pretty shaggy by the end of lockdown!
