Good morning ladies! Kicking this off before I head out the door to work! My last day of work for 2010.:)

I need to grab workout clothes...have a workout at the end of the day. Then Hannah (oldest niece) is going to watch the kids tonight while Brian and I go out to eat and maybe a movie! Date night! Woo Hoo! Doesn't happen very often so I'm looking forward to it. We will ring in the New Year tonight and that way we won't be out tomorrow night when it gets so crazy!

Have a good day all! I'll be back later tonight!

Morning all - need to step away from the computer and clean today- yeah it's a nasty job, but somebody has to do it and today it is me!

Linda- we started a new years eve tradition with our kids where we would go out to a fancy (not chain) restaurant for early dinner - complete with everyone wearing their sunday best- then we could be home and in bed before the crazies were out! Ah the memories! Congrats on date night too!

Hi ;) New Year is nearer and nearer ;P

I preparated some zips with my freebies. If you want to upload it, come to my blog: http://www.natesia.blogspot.com and click on: "Pobierz". I know, that you prefer elements and kits from professional designers, but maybe some elements would be OK for you ;)

I'm finally dragging myself out of bed this morning. I've been trying to work back towards my normal schedule so I had DH wake me up at 7 this morning. I think I was awake for a total of 3 minutes before deciding to go back to sleep, lol. 5am is going to come as a really big shock on Monday when I have to go back to work!

I have big plans today - scrap, sew, scrap, read, scrap and then cook dinner. :) I have to get some of these creative projects taken care of before my vacation is over and/or the poor little dogs freeze to death since I haven't sewn their doggy jackets yet. I also ventured to the library yesterday to pick up The Last Song and also found a copy of the Time Traveler's Wife on the shelf so I grabbed that as well. I have no idea how I'm going to get them both read in the 14 days I have them.

Linda - Yay for the last day of work this year!!!! And yay for date night!!!

LaurieW - Sorry about all the cleaning and what a fun tradition!

Chris - Sending you some get well vibes and hoping you get to feeling better soon.

always chatty at the O!!
Good morning ladies.

I went to bed so early last night. I was wiped out. Still feeling the effects of illness and still freaking about the chronic illness. Hopefully I'll get some answers next week when I have my appointment. Fingers crossed and lots of prayer.

This morning I woke up early and did called Linksys to see if I could get my laptop back online. Thank goodness for warranty. Now we just have to wait for our new router to get here and then get it all set up. Not sure what the neighbor kid did when he unplugged it, but I'm guessing ours was already faulty and that just bumped it into actually not working. Good lesson for him about listening and doing what he is told though. It works well for us because it made it so that it broke while still under warranty. Yay!! We have to pay for shipping it though. That is lame. Not liking that at all, but at least we don't have to buy a new one.

So, tomorrow is the last day of the year. Wow!! Not so sure how I'm feeling about that. The first decade of the millenium. Aaaah!! Wowzers. So, what are your big plans for tomorrow? We always have a bit of a party at my parents house. It is always a lot of fun. I think it will be a small crowd this year though. We'll see.

LindaS - Yay for the last day of work for the year. That isa wesome. How did you manage that? My mom always has to work on the 31st for year end stuff as an accountant. I have a feeling you guys are different types of accountants. She tends to work in places where they have to close out warehouses and stuff so they have to have some official numbers at the end of the day and stuff. Enjoy date night tonight.

Laurie - cleaning, ugh!! better you than me. i hope you have more will power than i do. good luck getting things done.

Chris - we love you too. I hope you get things in order today. Sending some hugs your way. I'd send some extra energy if I had some.

Natesia - I'll have to check out your blog.

Jaime - I would have gone back to sleep too. I don't get up any earlier than absolutely necessary. You'll do just fine on Monday. Get your rest while you can. If it is a big shock on Monday then you have a rough day, go to bed early and get back to normal by Tuesday. It's all good. Have fun with your day of creativity.

Well, the kitchen looks better, I need to mop and dust- not that I enjoy the process, but I do enjoy the house being in more order before I return to work on Monday. DH is on the road and won't be home until lunch tomorrow- so what I get done will stay that way for a few hours! Both my boys have returned to their homes.

clara- prayers for you anything that needs to be done can be done 5-10 minutes at a time.

Good afternoon ladies!!! I have been doing some computer stuff today and keeping a heating pad on my neck!!! It's finally starting to get a little better....and SALLY...to answer your question from yesterday....I will go the chiropractor if it's not better by Monday....I have been to one...years ago...for my back that I had a pinched nerve (chiro did not help at all)...ended up with 3 months of physically therapy to fix that...and another time to the chiro for my arm...I had something just pop out of alignment...and oh yeah...he worked wonders on that!!! So I guess it just depends.

So today I have been all alone and in the quiet!! NO TV...NO RADIO...NO NOISE!!! It's been very nice!!!!!!!!!

Clara sweetie!!!! I need to come take care of you!! It's time for a Mom/Nana to take over!!!! I hate that you can not shake this stuff!!! I hope you do get some answers!!! I am happy to hear they are sending you a new router!! I keep waiting for mine to die...it's about 6 years old!! It's the one they sent us when we signed up for DSL....So I am guessing if they do it the same way, I can get a new one for free if I contract with them again...we have not had a contract for 5 years.

Laurie...well now that you have yours cleaned...will you come do mine...PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan on cleaning tomorrow and Friday if my neck will allow....then I can get out the weekend a little...I want to go to the movies and see It's Complicated. I love your new years eve tradtion!!! Sounds like fun!!!

Jaime....going back to sleep...I wish I could do that!!! Once I am awake that is it for me...but there used to be a time!!! I don't even use an alarm clock anymore!! I blame my Mom and grandparents for that trait!!! Sounds like a great day of scrapping and sewing and creating!!!!!!!!!

Natesia....how sweet for you zip of some of your goodies for us!!! I will have to go have a look!!! Thank you so much!!!

Chris.......((((HUGS)))) You need to feel better too...or I am going to have to come there as well!!!

LIndaS....Yay for last day of work!! (hehehe..although you did say of 2010...I am thinking that was a deep wish of not having to go back for a year!!!) There you go...working out again....you so rock!!!!!!!!!!! and WOOT for that date!!!! I want one too!!! maybe somebody would take me on a date!! LOL!!! DH doesn't very often.....so I need to find someone who will!! LOL!!!! Nah....just kidding...mine is pretty good to me!!! HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

Hey everybody! Seems like we are all in what I'm calling the "holiday slump." Yesterday I was just a big slug all day, and I didn't feel very good either. But I finally got plenty of sleep, and drank lots of water, ate better, etc. and today I feel much better. Got a little bit done, and I have high hopes for tomorrow.

I always seem to get here at the end of the day. LOL

Anybody else super excited to see what Ashalee has up her sleeve with her "fulfilled soul" thing? I am!

LOL Linda! That must have been Freudian with me calling it the last day of 2010!

We had dinner at Flemings. Wonderful time. And the kids enjoyed pizza with Hannah. As a matter of fact, she's still here watching Monsters, Inc with them!

Natesia, how nice of you to offer us your elements. I think that's very neat that you have taught yourself to make these.

Hey Clara. Fortunately my projects don't have year end close-outs so I have the luxury of taking tomorrow off. The New Year's Eve party at your parents sounds like fun. When I was in college, my folks had a couple of New Year's Eve parties for my dad's family. We would wind up with about 40 people and they would all spend the night. There were card games and food and TV and music and conversations...and then about 2 people would start finding beds. Most of the family stayed...with younger people sleeping on the floor or on sofas or in chairs. It really was great!

Jaime, I know what you mean about getting up early. I thought yesterday morning that I'd collapse when the alarm rang at 5:15...and I only had myself to get ready. Not looking forward to next Monday. Must remember to leave plenty of time on Sunday night to pack backpacks! :)

Anxious to hear what you think of the books!

Andrea, glad that you got enough rest and water to feel better. I'm actually excited that we are about to get back to normal with eating. ;-)
