Wow... where is everyone?!?!?!?!


I have an appraisal report to do this morning, but I'm hardly moving. I took melatonin last night for the first time, and it was somewhat awful. I finally got some sleep... but I woke up at 2am to go potty, and I had an awful stomach ache!!! A stomach ache I've never had before... and you know me, I'm the queen of stomach aches. When I fell back to sleep, it went away. Now I'm slowly waking up and am going to be like an hour late to work, but oh well -- better that I finally got some decent sleep for the first time in a week!

It's dumping snow just barely above us right now, so it looks like Yosemite on Monday is going to be amazing!!!
 
Hi all!!! It's a 4 day weekend here - most of the schools are off for teacher conference and then president's day Monday.

I just took my little guy for a walk through a local nature center. Tons of wildlife and nature...he was amused with a little bug! hahahahaha figures right?

Meg awwww sorry about your tummy!! Glad you got some sleep!!
 
hi y'all! the weather is loooooovely here today, so I've got the doors open and have been doing a bit of cleaning. goodness knows it needs to be done after all of us being cooped up with snowdays then illness.

They've finally decided how we're going to make up all the extra snow days - they are adding 18 minutes to the end of each day until the end of the year rather than adding on extra days, so i'm curious to see how that's going to go :)


Meg, sorry about the tummy but glad you got some sleep!!!

Kat, sounds like you're having a lovely day too! (probably more fun than cleaning!!! lol)

Kat -- I'm so jealous of your day out in the nature center!! It's so gloomy here right now that I can't even go on a decent drive to see the snow on the sierras :(


Woooooo so I managed to get to work, my boss wasn't even up yet herself! I finished my appraisal and now I'm home with Riley to keep me company! My boss had an appraisal up north and might now make it back into town to get her son from school, so I'm on call just in case he needs to be rescued. While I wait to hear if I'm needed, I'm going to have my MIL go over my taxes... our refund is a pretty shockingly high amount so I'm nervous to file...

Meg, sorry that you didn't feel well but glad that you got your work done early! Kat, funny that Nick was entertained by a bug.

Vicki, sounds like our weather is about the same...but yours will probably stay that way and we still have some cold spells left.

I broke down after almost 4 weeks with this crud and went to the doctor. Came home with an antibiotic so hopefully will soon be feeling better.
 
Hey all! I had a great day!! Spent all day with hubby!! NO KIDS!! It was great. We went out for breakfast and saw a movie. It was nice. Just a great day. Ahhhhhhhh!

I had a very busy day at work and am looking forward to curling up on the couch with MG and watching Unstopable.

Clara - so glad that you had a fabulous day with your MG!! You should try to have a date with him at least once a month!!

Vicki - how nice that you got to open the windows and let the fresh air in!! Can't wait until its warm enough to do that here!

Meg - yuk for the tummy ache!! Hope you feel better soon!

I'd love to have a date with MG but we have no friends here to watch the kids. So, it doesn't work out. It stinks. That made it super nice. I would love to go out with him once a month though. That would be awesome.
