Happy Party Weekend O Lovelies

Just a quickie from me...lots of layouts/challenges to catch up on, tutorials to read...sooooo much fun happening here at the O. My family thinks I have really gone insane . I am lovin' it!

This has been a crazy-fun week hasn't it?
And look at the O-Status: 19 on the Digital Top 50! Woot!!!

I just left love on a whole lotta lo's- it is so fun to see how everyone has a different take on the challenges.

I feel bad- I haven't had as much time to go blog hopping or Scavenger hunting as I would have liked this week,but maybe I can get my hiney going today. Gary and Scott are out searching for the Twilight 3 pack that is on sale. Our local Blockbuster sold out before noon today!

Last night was my niece's birthday party. I was still so sick I almost couldn't take her. But Gary was feeling good (he slept for over 8 hours!!!!!), so he drove us all down. It was at Holsten's, in Bloomfield NJ. If you watch the Soprano's you'd be interested to know that I sat in Tony's spot. Scott took a picture of the sign on the booth: "This table Reserved for the Soprano Family."

Today we are going to try and watch Twilight- hopefully he can find it at Target or another Blockbuster b/c that is where I have gift cards for!

Tomorrow I am taking the kids to my SIL's brother's house for the big annual St Patrick's Day party. Her family is 100% Irish and St Patrick's day is a real big deal. Last year, their neighbor came palying his bagpipes, which was really cool.

What about all of you? Good plans (Other than playing here?)

still so sleepy. i stayed up too late last night playing on the site. Bad Clara. So we have until monday night for the challenges? Yay. That makes me happy. I thought I had until Sunday night and i was wondering how i was going to get it done.

today dh ditched me to go snowboarding. i am sooooo tired. i cannot wait for naptime. i wish it were right now. tonight we are going to a dueling piano bar. that should be awesome. i'm excited.

Hey O's. Busy day here getting ready for my own B-day bash tomorrow...my first baby will be 3!!!!!! We went out for breakfast this morning and since then its been cleaning and shopping. I did take a break to watch Twilight while the girls were napping. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the closing chat tomorrow. Kalin's party is at 4pm so it depends on how long it takes me to clean up.

I've been having ALOT of braxton hicks in the evenings (not enough to go in, but enough that they are annoying!) so I may give up on cleaning up until Monday morning anyway.

Ok back to cleaning my messing house and I have to make a cake! She requested Strawberry Short Cake, I am not even sure if she's ever had it but I love it so no problems there ! Hugs O's.

I'm sooooo bored!!! I finished all of the challenge LO's and now I don't know what to do!

Getting up at 6 am for the chat was SO worth it. We had a blast and I finally got some trivia right!

Now I just need to figure out how to occupy my time until tomorrow.

Yeah I got this question A LOT this morning. 3 years ago when I met my husband all of my friends were calling me "Ka-BAM!" because they said my personality is so "happy" and "in your face" Then when I met DH he called me Bambi. So I just shortened it to "Bamm" lol. I LOVE my nick name. It's so me.

I'm finally getting in to post my news for the weekend! I caught part of the Saturday chat yesterday morning before Mr. Wonderful decided it was time for some breakfast. After that I drove in to check my greenhouse. We'd had a power outage and my sprinkler system thinks it should be re set each time the power goes out. Everything looks so good and has grown a lot just since Wednesday!
We pulled down the ceiling and walls around the staircase up to the second floor yesterday! YAY! this is the last of the BIG messes! Sheetrock, plaster. lathe and loads of insundrious treasures coming down all at the same time. Then we hauled it all outside - five loads in the front end loader of the back hoe! Now today, I'll finish the clean up! I think Mr. W has one more little piece on the main floor that he's got to demolish to change a doorway. Not sure how much we'll do today, I'm sore, so I am sure that the guy who has broken his back twice will be a mess when he wakes up!
Here's exciting news - my 15 year old, Ali is a cheerleader for her school's boys basketball team. We just finished up our state bb tournaments last night. Our state police association gives an award in memory of a group of six cheerleaders who lost their lives in a plane crash on the way home from the state bb tournament. The award is called the Spirit of Six. My daughters' squad won the Spirit of Six! You should have heard the phone call I got!
Well, I'm off to browse the store, these are great sales! This has been such a fun party week here at the O!
Clara - hope you got your nap and I hope the piano bar was fun, sounds like a hoot!
Jos - hope the b day party is great! Braxton Hicks made me crazy during all of my pregnancies. Hang in there, not much longer now
ME - hope your family is healthy again soon. Glad things are going well with your Dad.

okay...extremely quick one for me...

I'm in denton (about 30 min north of dallas) getting ready for quentin's meet. This is his state meet so we are super excited about it!!

anyway, last night i was chatting and scrapping away...well, sorta scrappin cause all of my stuff and i mean all, is at home on my ehd. I thought I would pick up a few fun new things last night at the hotel, right? the power went off in the hotel!! So NOT TO BREAK MY RECORD of a LO a day since jan 1st, i scrapped using pics we took yesterday and text. You'll see that later tonight when i get home and post it!! so...this morning, the power is on and i'm checking things out! I love the O...and have really missed my GORGING on it all day!!

so we have to leave here to go to the meet in 12 minutes, so i better go pack all of this up!!!

btw, krista and laura, if you see this, sorry about leaving so abruptly last night!! when the power went out, so did the internet...heehee...

Can I just totally BRAG!!!!???? Gary slept-- two nights in a row!!!!!!!! And me, two nights in a row w/o having to wake up from the freezing seats!!!!
I really think the worst of the w/drawal is over. I am sure there are going to be times that it is going to kick back in, but if the worst of it is gone, I can deal.
And please my O-Fam, be very very VERY cautious when taking meds. We had *no* idea that this med was so addictive. We found out it is comparable to *heroin.* And honestly, I don't think the dr's have much of a clue- I think a lot of them just go by what the drug reps tell them.
So yeah, my point is- just be careful- esp. if you need to take something long-term.

Off the soapbox, because I actually feel human today!!!

Clara- how was the dueling piano bar? Sounds like fun! Hope you were able to get a good nap in

Sally- Good luck at the meet!! Go Q!!!!!!!! And you are either totally addicted and obsessed, or one seriously dedicated scrapping mama!

LindaP- I am so glad that the house is coming along- must feel good to just get all of that garbage out. Congrats to your DD!!! That must be a very special and honored award!

Kat- they were able to get the 3 disk set at Target- we had a $15 GC and it was $17.99! woot! So we played some Apples to Apples then went upstairs for the rest of the day to watch the movie and extra's.
I am so glad that I finished to books first. The movie was good, but the books- waaaaay better!

Happy Sunday! Can you believe it's here? The end to this marvelous week of endless partying?! It has been soooo much fun!

I didn't do as much as I wanted this weekend because of this new little fella

his name is Davy, he is a Dutch rabbit, Amanda looked up Dutch names and said that Davy means beloved in Dutch...sooooo. He stayed in her room last night and drove her batty . I went today to Petsmart and got him a nice cage, I'm going to clean my very, very messy bedroom/computer room/tv room and make a spot for him. My darling, Sassy cat is very jealous but curious . My German shepherd, Jacy, thinks Davy looks like a yummy snack. DH bought Davy for me but is less than thrilled about him being in the house, I couldn't bear to leave him outside in our old rabbit cage, and of course, I am the boss!

Jos-Happy Birthday to Kalin! Yummy strawberry shortcake!

Chris-sooo glad you guys are getting some sleep! You're right about the Opana, doctors aren't educated enough about it yet, it really needs to be saved for cancer pts and hospice pts. I think the drug reps push it for its controlled-release benefit and some doctors don't think about it being an opiate. At any rate, I am soooo glad you're both doing better!

Sally-Hope Q has a blast at his meet!!! Can't wait to chat tonight . Can't believe you use no power as an excuse....don't you have a car charger well, I guess it wouldn't help for the internet hahaha.


LindaP-congrats to your daughter! That's awesome! I bet you will be so happy to get done with remodeling, but really, it's neverending isn't it?!

The dueling piano bar was a blast. I drank waaaaaay to much and had to leave a little early because the music was making the air jiggle which made me feel sick. So, I headed over to our room and watched tv until everyone got done. Then we hung out for a bit. It was great to spend some time with my family and my friends. We had an absolute blast. I really need a nap today. I am really looking forward to tonight's chat and my dh is being a pretty good sport about it and knows it is the last one and all that. So, hopefully it will all come together. I need to charge my laptop and all that, although I could just as easily have it plugged in.

Well, I am off. I have to take a nap. My head feels like it is about to split in half. So so tired. I am so glad 2 year olds still take naps. I hope I wake up feeling good.

I'm still super bored. I have nothing to do anymore because I stayed up until 2:30 this morning finishing the Sunday layout. BTW, I was awake yesterday for 21 hours! I was 3 short of a full day. I feel like crap.

I need a project so I'm going to start working on a new scrap album i think. I have so much new stuff this is going to be a blast!

I'm sad that tonight is our last chat but I'm excited about the big announcement. And I can't wait for Designer Spotlights to start again.

My brain is allllll over the place right now lol.
