Really? I'm the first one to post today? And I went out and partied last night too. =) We went to the piano bar and had a blast!

Now I have class today, and I'm all hoarse. Think the college students will mind? I gotta make sure to wash the martini glass stamp off my hand.

I didn't fully read yesterday's oooo's. Hope everyone ended up having a good week. I'll be checking in much later today after class.

So glad you had a great time...a piano bar sounds cool!

I discovered last night that the trojan virus I had a while back wasn't really gone! AYE CARUMBA! We had to update our virus scan and it wouldn't let us. Finally figured it out and supposedly per them it's gone now....but....not sure I believe it. Hate to do another reformat...yikes...so I spent all night trying to fix it!

Today is a new day though.....so I am going to look at the bright side of life We have 2 parties for my nieces birthday today one kiddy and one family. So I am hoping my headache goes away by then.

Today is off to a good start - I got up and went to aerobics at the gym (didn't really want to go, but once I got there, I had fun), and then get this, this afternoon, I am getting a facial!!! Can I tell you just how excited this makes me? Love me a good pampering session.

Sara - hope your voice returns for class. Have fun with your students. The piano bar sounds so cool.

Kat - enjoy the parties. And I hope your computer is 100% better now.

Just passing thru and wanted to say hello. Not much going on here..cleaning, etc. Just as usual, hubby is working so its just me and Nico. Hes down for a nap and im taking advantage! Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!!! :grin:

Good morning...well barely. It is about lunchtime and then nap time. Yay!! Gotta love me some naptime. This morning the boys raced their pinewood derby cars and Ethan got 2nd place. Whoohoo!! I think if some of the weight gets redistributed it could be even faster. It was amazing to me how silly some of the parents get though. Not even about the cars but about who's in control and knows more about what. Very silly.

So, now we are home and I need to make some mac'n'cheese. The boys keep fighting over stupid stuff. Ethan corrects Cristian then Cristian has to verify everything Ethan says. I now understand how my mom felt when me and my sister would argue. I wonder when Ethan and Addie will start arguing. I guess it will start as soon as Addie is able to have real conversations. The arguing between the boys is only temporary thankfully. Only until Cristian's mom gets back in a week or two.

Dang it...I just looked at the calendar and realized I missed the All you can Eat Crab fest at the local University. So sad. I love crab. It is definately the yummiest. I guess I didn't need all you can eat anything. Buffets are so bad for me.

Voice didn't come back. In fact, I can barely speak. I don't think it was completely due to my piano bar adventure. I think it is more than that. =)

Hi everyone- I was MIA yesterday- I slept until 11:30- didn't mean to but I did anyway.
But then I got cranky b/c my day was messed up.
I helped Scott get started on a SS project- a multimedia project on the Hagia Sophia. He just ran down to say it is done (first draft at least). He really got into it. We found some cool Byzantine chants and some great pics that we Photoshopped a bit. He added it all together using MS Movie Maker. Can't wait to go see it!

I am just finishing up a cup of coffee now and watching the darn snow still coming down. I am so sick of this stuff! We have friends coming up later so I have to get the house sorta cleaned.

Sara- hope your voice comes back!

Clara- ahhhh, the sound of siblings fighting, its like .... nails on a chalkbd!

It's cold here..mid-30s, yesterday we had just a dusting of snow. DD and I went to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, it was fun got to laugh a lot. Tried to pick up some new scrubs for work but of course they are discontinuing the *new* colors that our uniform committee picked just a few months ago that they were assured would be available for 2 yrs. So I guess I'll stick with what I have until they are threadbare or different colors are approved. I shouldn't complain, when I first started there it was strict navy or white, then it was khaki, navy, or white, you could mix and match them but no more than 2 colors at a time LOL. We have uniform police patrol at work. Now we have (had) a couple of prints and coordinating colors.

Last night I got to go on a girl's night out with a couple of friends. Was good to catch up on things, it had been months! Would have been more fun had DH not txt msg'd me guilt trip msgs all evening. MEN, why can't they all be sweethearts ALL of the time instead of part-time?

Today, I'm trying to get caught up on some layouts for CT 'work', hehe.

Chris-I KWYM about sleeping late messing up your day, I hate when I do that! The SS project sounds cool, let us know how it goes!

Sandra-get some rest, let us know how your dad is later!

Wow - I never got checked in here all weekend? How does that happen?
I had a good time at the conference I was at Weds through Friday. It started snowing Friday morning and the roads for the first 50 miles south were NOT nice. The last 50 miles were no problem. The roads really slowed me down and I got home way later than I had expected.
Saturday I cleaned the house and caught up on laundry. I ran to town in the afternoon as we were hosting a fundraiser for the youth group that I work with. We offered jitterbug/country swing dance lessons! Had lots of kids show up and had a really good time. My oldest daughter brought four of her dancin' friends down from college to teach the kids. I ended up dancing with one of the college kids - he just about killed me. I haven't been so out of breath in quite a while. Guess that means that I need more time on the elliptical?
Today was more cleaning and laundry - all the bedding! Mr. Wonderful is STILL out in the garage working on his truck! he's spent the entire weekend there

Hello hello!!

I am sitting at home trying to enjoy a couple of minutes of not being bugged by kids but it is not happening so well with arguing boys in the background playing wii. Threatening to turn it off made a bit of a difference though. So, it is better.

Today I went to a potluck at my church that was supposed to be a military family potluck but it was more of a planning meeting. It was kinda strange and I threw in some ideas for them but the lady who is trying to put it together didn't seem extra excited about new things that differed from her ideas. It was good though. I think they were thinking too big for the group so I tried to get them to step back a notch. We'll see what they decide to do.

I did just get word that I was invited to be on Andrea Gold's creative Team. I'm excited about that. I love using templates and that is what she mostly does. She has hundreds of templates and they are all at my disposal. Whoohoo!! Can't beat that. She's from GDS. I don't really love the website but like I said...I love her templates. So I basically just don't have to pay for what i was already doing. Yay!!

Chris - being a big sleeper who loves to sleep in and never gets the opportunity too...sleeping in is always a gift, even when it throws your day off. I really would sleep all day if I could and never feel bad about it. My dh is like you though. He feels like his day is wasted if he sleeps in. He used to wake me up on Saturdays because he was bored. Those days seem so long ago. Wow!! Anyway...sleep girl, sleep!!
