Happy Saturday everyone! I'm browsing a cabinet site, trying to figure out what we want in our kitchen remodel. We're thinking Hickory right now with hickory flooring. Lots of choices and decisions to make - I hate that part!

Hi ladies! Why why why am I still so tired? I went to bed yesterday at 5 pm.... got some dinner at 7, went right back to bed and slept till 8:30....

I better get my a@@ in gear and get moving, I haven't done a darn thing around the house, and we are having family tomorrow for the game. And we have to go to the dealership today to sign the papers for the buyout for our car.

I still cannot believe that today is the last day of Jan!

Ohhh I am soo jealous! I am stuck with a kitchen that looks like it came from the Brady Bunch show! It's bright ORANGE! No lie!!! Every morning I need sunglasses to enter! I so want to re do it! ON my list of things to accomplish this year!

Kat - don't be too jealous. Mr. Wonderful is one of those types that plans for years before doing a project. So this is probably 10 years off.....but he's hounding me to get it figured out.

So - buy some paint and I'll come help you paint over your orange cabinets. Maybe a little faux finish or something?

Hey girlies,

I'm feeling like I got a lot accomplished already today - Target run (spent too much) and got Christian's haircut. Now I hope to get in a workout, and then later I am meeting my bf for coffee. We don't often get to see each other, but she will be nearby my house this afternoon so I am so looking forward to talking and laughing with her.

DH and I were going to go out for dinner tonight, but my neighbor's son has strep throat, and she was going to babysit. I am kind of bummed, but we'll do it another time for sure.

Does anyone twitter? I have an account, and I am still trying to decide if I like it or not. I don't know.

good afternoon! I'm sorry I didn't check in yesterday... with going to visit Dad, getting a haircut, and then getting ready to see Rascal Flatts last night, I just didn't have a minute to pop in at all... I saw Dad today, and he's not having a good day today... he seems extremely tired, a little disoriented, and had to have a unit of blood again last night... and of course I never get a chance to talk to the doctor...

okay that's all for me... I'm super tired and can't think straight... have a great weekend!

Sandra - I am so sorry your Dad is having a bad day! (((hugs))) Saying a prayer that things improve. How was the concert? Did you have a great time?

Today...I signed Nick up for Soccer! His first sporting thing! One of my friends belongs to a fun league and she helped get us on. I can't wait I hope he really likes and even better....they have dealt with Nut allergies before! The guy who was doing the registration started to run down the list of things that they do....and I swear I almost cried!!!! It has never been that easy anywhere or understanding *sigh* Today was a good day!

Well I am itching to scrap...so off I go! Have a fab night everyone!

morning ladies!
The dog had me up at 7 am this morning, which is a good thing, I have been sleeping my days away I am so far behind on everything!

So I am gonna post this and get my rear in gear!

(whines-- But I like sitting here with my electric blankie and coffee and my O-Fam )

My IL's (MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL and my 2 nieces) are coming up for the game between 3-4 pm, so I am have stuff to do around that house that has slipped by the last few days that I have only worked and slept.

Sandra- totally praying for Dad. And yes, how was the concert!!! I hope that you were able to just let it all go for those few hours!

Nick is going to have so much fun, Kat!
And Kat- I should show you pics of our kitchen when we first moved in here- the cabinets were all moldy inside! Had no choice to re-do them. And the one bathroom was that baby blue tub/toilet/sink and gold Formica *shudders* I did use tub paint to try to cover up the tub, but the pipes leaked all over them and the finish never dried properly.
But oh, yeah, I so totally agree with Linda P-- let's get some apint and cover up that orange!

hey Linda! My FIL is like that too with remodels. He ripped out his bathroom -- when I was pg with Scott (he is now 12!) and the bathroom is just like it was 12 years ago

ME- sounds like you had a really good day. I love Target.... I miss being able to shop for fun stuff.

And the car buyout went super smooth!YAY! The dealership is taking care of all of the DMV stuff *sigh of relief* I don't know if every state is like this, but NJ DMV is a nightmare.
All we have to do is go pick up our plates from the dealer when they are ready.
And more good news- we were able to get a 36 month/30,000 mile warranty-- for only $20 a month! So my car payment is $3 less than my lease payment, but we have full coverage if anything goes wrong. God knows what we would do if the trans or something big like that went!

Today you need to get as active as you can, as early as you can. Get involved and do something! At work, speak up in a meeting or volunteer to take a larger role on in a new project. At home, reorganize the furniture or give the kitchen a thorough cleaning -- it needs it! And socially, isn't it time you put together a dinner party or ambitious outing? Pick some dates and send out an email to your favorite people ... you need to have something to look forward to

Good morning. REal quick today. Yesterday I was busting my butt while my dh was running around looking for something we didn't need even though I asked him not to. He was being a butt and making me crazy. He has really been a bit off lately and I want him to see the doctor about it but I know he won't which makes me crazy. I think he's depressed but who knows. Memory loss, extra indifference, always tired, often in a bad mood and just not very helpful. He has all of these traits sometimes but not all the time and not usually all at once. It is really frustrating. He has ADD and takes meds for it and now I am wondering if they are not working so well or something. Very frustrating. The thing that tipped me over the edge was we got Ethan a toy box for Christmas and he broke it when he was putting it together so we got replacement parts. Well, he put it together exactly the same way as before and broke it again. He thinks the wood dowels are too long but he didn't try to push them into the toy box with a hammer or anything and cut part of it off or anything at all. Not to mention no cleaning throughout the day or anything either. So annoying. Grrrr...

Anyway...lots and lots of prayers going out to Sandra. We love you girl!!!

I am off to go get me and the kids ready to meet my parents for brunch. Enjoy th erest of your weekend.
