Helloooo hump day!

Why is it that even when you get stuff done, more stuff just piles up? It feels like I am trying to swim upstream, with more and more little critters hanging onto my fins.(I am now a Mermaid LOL)

My mom needs her steam cleaner back so I did one last shot of that before I bring it to her on Friday. I love my cats, I truly do. But dang, I wish they would stop peeing on the rug!
I got out and collected morning glory seeds and then 1.5 mile walk. The weather turned nice but it looks like a lot of rain the next few days.

Today I am off to work. Then who knows what? I am feeling pretty drained ATM.....

Good Morning Chris and the rest of the O fam- thought I better get in and say hi! before I got busy with my exercise and running off to work. Promises to be a busy day today. Not sure how busy but if everyone comes, I will be one tired puppy at the end of work!! Hope everyone has some sunshine in their lives today, real or imagined!!

Phyllis- oh yuck, so sorry to that that the weather is doing your body in. Thank goodness for heating pads. I pulled mine out but I need to clean out my microwave before I put it in there. (guess I know what I am doing after work today.heh!)
How did the contact appt go? Hope they finally get you fitted right.

Nancy-- healing thoughts to your hubby. Sounds like an awful surgery. I hope that he feels better today. How long before he will be able to exercise?
It got really cold up here. I think I am going to have to put my heat back on soon.

Trudy- that is FAB news about Heather getting services like that!!! That makes me so happy to hear. I am sure that will be a big boost to her. Gentle warm hugs to you too!

Oh Phyllis-- I am chuckling at your disorientation but in a sad way. That is one reason why I can't nap. It makes my head feel worse afterwards. That really sucks that sleeping in your bed made you so stiff. Gary hasn't been able to sleep a full night in our bed since I went to Wildwood in Aug.

Laurie-- hope that you don't oversleep today. Good luck with your busy day and what a sweet thing to do to cheer up your sister!

'morning, O-zies. i'm longing for the "FALL BACK" time change. man, is it DARK!!

Laurie, should i hope that not everyone shows up for you at work today? sometimes those appointment cancellations feel a little like a blessing. like a snow day for kids in school! and WISHING i could oversleep. just ONCE!

Chris, you made me think that i better look more closely at the inside of my microwave. i am SO blind without my glasses/contacts, that a whole LOT of stuff goes unnoticed by me when i'm not wearing them. the contact "reading" went fine. this is the company who MAKES the contacts, so you can give them a contact and they can measure everything about it. the fit, the prescription, everything. technology amazes me. so now all i have to do is make another appointment with the optometrist through whom i'm buying the contacts, and then see how it goes. have you had any luck with the Obamacare phoneline?

today, it's going to The Mall to pick up some of my "uniform" slacks. does anyone else do this? find something they like and then order a ton of it? i found these black pants which i like, and they're REALLY cheap, so they're my garment of choice. i have millions of them. i guess i can get away with this because i don't work outside the home, so there's no one who would say: "Hey. there she goes again with her stupid black slacks!" my husband never notices what i wear, either, and some days he's the only person i see. i'm all about "easy." i hate thinking about what to wear, so i don't. :rofl:

just more evidence of my slug-ness.

it's SWEATER WEATHER!! i'm liking this. if only we could hold off what comes next.... :becky: have a happy day.

Good morning ladies. I am in the OR again today. The girl who is supposed to work up here called in today and I am the OR back up so here I am. Lots of urology studies today. Stones and stent placements. Good times. It is freezing cold up here. I am positive that one day i will get frostbite. There is one doctor who always wants the temperature in his room even colder. I like doing pediatric cases because they always turn the temp up for them. Everyone else gets cold rooms. Of course the patients get this thing over top of them called a bear hugger. It's basically this thin plastic blanket thing that has tunnels built into it and they blow warm air into it and it keeps the patient warm. I want one of those built into my scrubs. Then I could just plug in and be warm all day long.

Today started out as a great day. I was at The Coffee Stand and heard the door rattle but then no one came in so figured I imagined it and then Derek and Addie came in. So I got to hang up with them for a bit this morning.

Okay, I am off to go check on a room.

good morning - whew a late night last night as the Devils are playing on the West Coast so the game was not over until after midnight. They lost in OT 3-2. It was again my team going ahead and then not being able to keep the lead. One of the goals went off my defensive player into our net so that was a bummer. But I was so productive yesterday so that makes the day good. Starting printing out my Vacation scrapbook pages. I really love how they look. Then when I ran out of ink LOL I always underestimate how much it takes I started my 2014 calendar. And again I am really liking how it is turning out. So I will head off to Staples to get more ink and food shopping.

Chris there is always more to do LOL!

Phylis yes I do buy the same clothes - once I find something that fits I tend to buy every color. And I too thought the surgery was very cool. He cannot exercise for one week. Glad the contact fitting is going well. I am find that the more I sleep the stiffer I get. What a evil thing sleep well but your are stiff or get up and then you are tired.

Laurie congrats on workout and hope your day goes well!

Clara I do not think I could work in an OR if it is that cold. I dont think my hands would be able to function.

Trudy hope your back is feeling better. And hope your are not getting too much rain. There is a front that is coming up the East coast and should bring rain tomorrow and Friday.

Morning ladies... Well a nice surprise with our weather yesterday, it was fabulously sunny here yesterday and today looks to be the same There is a coolness to the air, but oh my the sunshine sure is nice and puts everyone in a good mood! So I go to go for a nice long walk yesterday. Have to tell my chiropractor that my hips click when I walk now, WTH is that all about?? Doesn't hurt, but it sounds horrible!!! I go this morning for my last visit for a bit, then we will see if I need to go back, I am sure I will, the grandkids are at that age where they are very physical and want to packed around, but are much too heavy to be doing that!! Can't wait to see them again!! They are so affectionate and this Grandma loves to read to them in bed every night!!

Chris - The stuff never ever stops piling up Chris!! As long as you are alive, there will be bills to pay and housework to do out: not fair I know!! Sure hope you feel better by the end of the day!! Gentle :hug: for you sweetie!! Thanks for thinking of my DD!! It means a lot to me!

Laurie - Yeah you!! You seem to be a happier you!! Hope your day gets some cancellations so you can get a break! WTG for starting your workouts again! You rock!!

Phylis - I too like to buy as many pairs of pants that I love as I can, but they seem to always discontinue selling the ones that I love and eventually I am on the look out for new favourites :mmph: I only seem to be able to get a couple of pair at a time, because they never have that many in the store in my size and none of the other outlets have them either. Oh well maybe if I lost some weight I would have better luck?? Hope your day at the mall is good I love shopping for fall clothing, its so warm and cozy! I think maybe I will look for a new sweater today too! :becky: (don't tell DH)

Clara - That sucks that you have to be so cold while you work! Like nancy I would never be able to do that, I would be wearing mittens to keep my hands warm! What a nice surprise to have your hubby and daughter come to visit at the coffee stand this morning! Wish I could come for a visit and a cuppa !! I say go and grab one of those neat blankets and plug in for a bit to warm up!! :becky:

Nancy - Darn West Coast hockey games start so late for all you in the East! Watched the highlights of the game, but hubby refuses to watch the Canucks, he does not like them!! Sorry that your Devils lost, but hey they have got to win one soon right? Would you not find it less expensive to have your pages printed off at Staples or another printing place? Ink for my printer is more expensive than the cost of a new printer!! LOL! I send my calander pages to Staples and they do a nice job of it, they put coil binding on them too. Not sure how large your Calendar pages are, I do mine 11x17 and everyone just loves them! Gotta get going on those today too, thanks for the reminder!! :becky:
