The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
hey hey hey! Its a hump day!

I never made it back for personals yesterday did I? :( I ended up doing some scrapping and gallery comments, so at least I wasn't *totally* rude, ya know.

Not much going on, more cold and rain. Food shopping, working from home..... boring but necessary.

Really quick for personals, I need to get ready for the kids.

Clara- hey girl- how are you and the kids doing? Getting more settled with the house?

Meg- good to see ya! You are feeling better too? I need to get back crocheting again. I started a blanket last year for a baby that my brother had thought they were going to be able to adopt but it turned out to be a big mess, and I haven't been able to touch it since.
I'm going to have to check out your blog next :)

Sally-- mmmm, that drink sounds yummy! And if it is a virtual one, that means no calories! So happy to hear that the end of YMG travels are coming. yay!!

Krista- hope that you aren't feeling "blah" today. I know how that goes- sometimes it just takes too much energy to type.

Nina- it is never too late for your coffee! Sooooo good to see you here, we've missed you lots and lots and lots!!

Trudy- angel biscuits?? Sounds yummy and light and fluffy. Do you have a recipe to share?

Nana Linda- oh no-- Savannah is being a stinker, isn't she. Both of my babies were miserable as little ones (colic for Scott, reflux for Cait) but by the time they were 1 they were both much happier. I don't think that i would be able to handle that at this point in my life!
Hope she is feeling better and that you are surviving ok.

Linda S-- how did mom do yesterday? Please tell her that all of the O-Fam is praying for her. I know I am speaking for everyone, but I am pretty confident that we all feel the same. And lots of hugs for you too.

Laurie- what a great attitude towards your health and life. If it is raining again today I am going to hit the treadmill again, are you with me?

Gotta run.... doggie need to go too LOL ahe is whining at me, mom-mmeeeeeee!

xoxoxo

Morning all - Dang Chris I was going to skip the treadmill today- but now the challenge is on- it will have to wait till after work though as I overslept this morning- looks like we might have some sun today - not that I will get to see it- unlike the job I used to have the place I work has no windows- just glass doors that you enter in- and my room is way at the back of the dept- so if I see kid after kid after kid- I see no light- I intend to go walk around the building at lunch so I can see the light- I also intend to stay late at work so I can get caught up a little- then I can scrap tomorrow with no guilt. I haven't done a challenge yet.

Clara- hope home schooling is settling in and you have dr appt for Evan

Meg- what is happening on the chicken front?

Nana- hope Savannah has a good day- maybe with the sleep over it will be better- think travel mug so you can have your coffee and your baby!

Krista & Nina- have great better than average days - You too Vicki!

Linda S- Prayers for you all & your mom

Sally- you are a busy bee these days with your quilting/crafting- so inspiring

Trudy- work today or day off?

see you all tomorrow-

laurie! I did 20 mins!

Nana Linda - you were very busy scrapping yesterday and I loved all of your LO's! Hope your little girl is feeling better for you today!

Laurie - At least you can get out in the sun on your lunch...Can't wait to see your pages in the Challenges!

Gotta go grab some coffee and check my email, hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Chicken update!!!

So, we have everything ready -- but now we're going up to Oregon at the end of the month for about two weeks (anyone near Portland/Sherwood who wants to meet up??) We decided to hold off on the chickens until we get back, so we wont have to stick his parents with baby sitting chickens.

I'm going to try and scrap a few pages today, and knock out a lot of the blanket. Oh, and I'm GETTING MY HAIR CUT!!!! I used to get my hair cut every six weeks like clockwork, but uh... I had to grow it out for the wedding, and just never cut it since, so it's been growing wild since March. I'm keeping it long, even though I love having it in a-line bobs.

So is there a weight-loss challenge going on or something??? I need to step up on that! I haven't been able to make headway on the weight I gained after starting BC.

Personals!!!

Chris -- Add me on Ravelry!! Yeah, I've for the most part feeling better. We had a scare a few nights ago and thought I might have to go to the ER, but I'm better.
I know what you mean about not being able to pick up a project after things go downhill, I've had a few of those.

Laurie -- Wow, I'd never be able to work without windows. We have non-stop sun, I'm loving the overcast skies right now :)

Krista -- Love you too!! Good luck with the laundry :)

Trudy -- Have a wonderful walk!!

Hello ladies -

It's official, I need a vacation. This week has been one "monday" after another, and today I am sitting here in a daze looking around my house like I haven't seen it in weeks. This pregnancy is really taking it's toll on my brain.

Have you girls seen the new Creative Team additions to Amanda Taylor's (TaylorMade, here at Oscraps) group? I saw quite a few familiar names. Sadly, mine wasn't one of them, despite having my fingers and toes crossed for days. ;) I guess I'll just have to try again next time.

I'll try to come back later for personals.

Hey ladies!!

So here I am. I have been meaning to stop in all week but the day just keeps getting away from me. So Sunday was great. It was an awesome opportunity to get our house together although the upstairs is still destroyed. Plus it was fun to have Andrea and her family over. Our husbands get along great and as soon as they walked in they both disappeared outside then ran off to get ice and we just sat and chit chatted. She is looking all round and pregnant and is so cute. I love it. She misses all of you but has just been so busy with the kids, their school, her school and getting ready for baby Walter. She had hoped she might getting restationed someplace new but when they got their new orders they were for ft. Bragg just for a different unit. That is how people get stuck here for years and years.

Monday was a lot of fun. We got to play hooky from school and go on a science field trip. this week is nuclear medicine week at the hospital so we went there and I took some pictures for them and Ethan got a tour, that was far too technical for him, and then we ran some errands for the rest of the day. I did give Ethan a new tour and re-explained things like radioactive isotopes and gamma rays. Then he kept asking questions about things that didn't matter so I had to make sure he understood the point and he got to see some fun pictures. Derek has been working really hard getting ready for this.

The Army guys have been relentless lately with the artillary. Man. It shakes the whole house. Windows shake and everything. I think I am repeating myself but it just amazes me. I forgot about it from when I lived on post at Ft. Lewis. Man. It is crazy.

Well, I need to run but will head back for personals soon. I need to get a few things for dinner. Big hugs for everyone though.

Hey ladies. Sounds like things are going ok around here.

Mom had a good day yesterday with both chemo and radiation. Today she had radiation only. Seven weeks.

And guess what...I think I've told you that the laptop has been acting up. So, I ordered myself a new laptop as a birthday present! Woo Hoo! It's supposed to be here tomorrow.

Clara, so glad that you and Andrea are getting to spend some time together. And it sounds like home schooling is falling into place...especially the field trips. Great job!

Hi ladies! Just stopping bye to say hi! Linda: you and your mom will be in my thoughts and prayers!!
Laurie: you do have the right mind set to take care of you and your health. I was just kidding with the butter thing ;) I am hoping to get a fridge back on the truck so we can eat healthier ourselves and start grilling on the George Foreman grill again - yum!
I'm proud of you for taking care of you!

More personals later but you all have a wonderful evening!!

And I am sorry Stef to read you didn't make Amanda's group! I was talking to someone else about that the other day, won't mention names unless she wants it known LOL , but have to go see if she made it.

The answer to that is no, I don't know anyone on that list so it means she didn't make it either. HUgs to you both; I know how disappointed you both must feel.

You know...I am not bummed that I didn't make Amanda's list at all. I know a lot of those names on the list and those ladies are amazing. I think I would possibly feel a little intimidated if I had been on that list, personally. I don't feel bad even a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be on her team but I'm in good company to have been left off of it too.

Evening all - I got a 10 min walk around the building in the sun today, and stayed to work until -ummm 8pm, then went to get on the treadmill - really was on it for 3 min, dh called and I do not get signal in the basement- then Criminal minds came on. so tomorrow I will walk for 45 min- my cholesterol report came back and still running high nl for the bad-so I want to try 3 months of getting it to lower with diet and exercise and avoid another medication.

Petra- I knew you weren't picking on me- I do like butter and have it in small amounts on my sunday or Saturday toast- during the week- none.

I see by the posted on blog list I didn't make the team either- oh well- not meant to be at this time. I did see that Elisa and nini and che were on it though! Off to run through the gallery

Hi ladies ...Well I did not make Amanda's team either. But like you say Laurie it's just not meant to be! Yes Clara they are amazing ladies that got picked, but heh we are amazing too right?? Oh well, Saylavee. It will happen next time. Hope you are all having a great night! Work for me tomorrow. Enjoyed the sun this afternoon in the garden, but spent a lot of time dodging spiders yuck!!! I hate spiders!!!
