I feel like I have a hangover.... my head hurts, my body hurts, my eyes hurt. But NOPE! Nothing as fun-inducing as a hangover, just my good old Tindamax. I think I overdid it the last week or so.
(Shush!!!! I hear you laughing!!!!)
(I said stop! Please! LOL)
Yesterday was another one of those days. Didn't start the morning feeling all that great, and went down hill from there. Caitlyn texts me at 8.45 with news from the HS. Take a guess what was going on. Go on, you know the answer. Another F-ing bomb threat. (Sorry for the mouth, believe me, and saying way worse in my head) They evac to the middle school and she is begging me to pick her up. I am in the middle of food shopping but if they are on lock down, I won't even be able to get near the school. They get the all clear, head back to the HS, and then they see fire engines at the middle school. Cait texts me again, freaking out, wanting me to get her b/c if there is a fire a the middle school then they will be on lock down again. Turned out it was a gas leak and they didn't need to be on lock down, but while she was texting me she was also texting Gary, who then was texting to go get her and forget about the groceries. Meanwhile, my ice cream was melting in my shopping cart... *sighs*
Another day in WM. Our town must be the laughing stock of the rest of the state. :dizzy:
So I finally got home and Cait calls Gary who realized that she just wanted to be out of school. I unpack my groceries and sat with a cup of tea to regroup.
Right after that I started making a really yummy dinner. But it was more involved than I expected so I was glad that I started at noon. LOL
The recipe said that the total prep/cook time was 180 minutes. That is what it was copping too- I think it was more than that, as it usually is LOL
It was a roasted cauliflower tart with caramelized onions, a whole wheat crust and lots of cheese. It was declared a "worth the effort" by Cait and Gary. (They knew they would be in trouble if they said it sucked haha!!)
Cait and I drove down to pick up my IV meds and she drove- she still takes some of these mountain roads turns too fast. At least IMO. :fear:But we made it there and back in one piece. That is *always* a good thing.
Today I am doing some light housework and then Forever IV. I am feeling the need for that big time.
So I should get going since I will be at my desk for most of th eafternoon.
Hugs love and PEACE!!! to all
