The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
I feel like I have a hangover.... my head hurts, my body hurts, my eyes hurt. But NOPE! Nothing as fun-inducing as a hangover, just my good old Tindamax. I think I overdid it the last week or so.
(Shush!!!! I hear you laughing!!!!)

(I said stop! Please! LOL)

Yesterday was another one of those days. Didn't start the morning feeling all that great, and went down hill from there. Caitlyn texts me at 8.45 with news from the HS. Take a guess what was going on. Go on, you know the answer. Another F-ing bomb threat. (Sorry for the mouth, believe me, and saying way worse in my head) They evac to the middle school and she is begging me to pick her up. I am in the middle of food shopping but if they are on lock down, I won't even be able to get near the school. They get the all clear, head back to the HS, and then they see fire engines at the middle school. Cait texts me again, freaking out, wanting me to get her b/c if there is a fire a the middle school then they will be on lock down again. Turned out it was a gas leak and they didn't need to be on lock down, but while she was texting me she was also texting Gary, who then was texting to go get her and forget about the groceries. Meanwhile, my ice cream was melting in my shopping cart... *sighs*

Another day in WM. Our town must be the laughing stock of the rest of the state. :dizzy:

So I finally got home and Cait calls Gary who realized that she just wanted to be out of school. I unpack my groceries and sat with a cup of tea to regroup.

Right after that I started making a really yummy dinner. But it was more involved than I expected so I was glad that I started at noon. LOL
The recipe said that the total prep/cook time was 180 minutes. That is what it was copping too- I think it was more than that, as it usually is LOL
It was a roasted cauliflower tart with caramelized onions, a whole wheat crust and lots of cheese. It was declared a "worth the effort" by Cait and Gary. (They knew they would be in trouble if they said it sucked haha!!)

Cait and I drove down to pick up my IV meds and she drove- she still takes some of these mountain roads turns too fast. At least IMO. :fear:But we made it there and back in one piece. That is *always* a good thing.

Today I am doing some light housework and then Forever IV. I am feeling the need for that big time.
So I should get going since I will be at my desk for most of th eafternoon.

Hugs love and PEACE!!! to all :D

Claire- I think I have some of those books on my computer, they are good? I will have to check and see if I do or I just *think* I do. Do they have to be read in sequence?
Woah!!!! That is some amazing swimming!!!

Oh Kat- that sounds immensely dull! I hope that you can find something more exciting to read soon. Good luck with certification process!

Trudy- yay for good night's sleep! How does your hair feel? Bet it is wonderful!! If I could have someone come in and shampoo my hair, like at a salon, I would be in heaven.
I am ready to relocate to another country just to get away from the election season. It is never *not* an election season. The primary races have been going on since spring, and the pres. election isn't for another year. And all of the money they spend... :frusty: If you ( general "you") can't figure out which candidate represents you the best in a few months, they maybe, just maybe you shouldn't vote!
It is all about the $$$$. Ad buys. Ratings for these ridiculous debates. ratings! As if politics are the same as entertainment or sports. Ugh!

oops, did it again...
:tape:

hahah! Looks like my mouth ran away from me too LOL

How is Mason feeling? Hope it isn't anything more than a cold and that Heather doesn't get it too.

::grouphug

Morning ladies... Well yes everyone has the cold at my DD's house, how could they not when Mr. Runny Nose (Mason) is wiping his nose with his hand and getting it all over the house (ewwww) !! :becky: But it is just a cold and a bit of a sore throat, so hopefully they will all feel better in a couple of days! Very chilly here this morning, but hoping that the cooler temps will finally kill all the dam fruit flies that we have been dealing with for weeks now!! God I hate those things!! You pour a glass of wine and 2 seconds later there is a fruit fly doing the backstroke in you glass  I think they are the most annoying bugs ever!!

Chris - Imagine that... you over did it AGAIN!! LOL how could we not bug you about it?? Hope your forever IV makes you feel a bit better! Really another Bomb scare?? WTH?? why can't they catch these little buggers?? I have to laugh thinking about you driving with your daughter, it was horrifying trying to teach Heather to drive before she got sick!! I think I left fingernail marks in the dashboard!! I am sure Cait will slow down around the corners and be an excellent driver! Yes my hair feels so nice now, no more gray and because I was the only client that my hairdresser had for the afternoon, she took extra time giving my scalp a nice massage (I love her!!)) LOL.

Hi to all who drop in today, I have so much to catch up on here and so far behind with things that I figure I'm first :becky: (a saying my BIL used to always say) Have a great day everyone, hope you do something you love today!

Hello everyone,
Sorry to hear about the bomb scare Chris, hope you take it easy today you gotta stop overdoing it.
The Agatha Christies can be read not in order as they stand on their own. We like the Miss Marples as they are set just after the war and are a gentle murder mystery. The writing may seem old fashioned but they are a good read that you can come back to, they do it with mirrors is far fetched and my least favourite, but the others are good. The Caribbean mystery needs to be read before nemesis it's a follow on, although both can be read on their own as stand alone.
I had a day of laziness yesterday got loads of scrapbooking done.
I have been to the hairdressers today to get my haircut and blow dried, getting pretty white now definitely salt and pepper look now, like Trudy I hate it when it gets in my eyes.
Giggled at your description of Mason with cold Trudy. Thanks for your lovely comment for my challenge 5 layout.
Robbie is off tomorrow so swimming in the morning I think, he has a week off next week and has a firm plan of what he wants us to do hence me taking it a bit easy this week.
Waving hi to everyone
