Gash dang it- not having a good few days here. And of course I have a crazy week. I don't know if this is a real herx or not- I am not getting all of the flu-ish symptoms, but man, I am in pain! Advil/Tylenol just doesn't cut it. I am trying so hard to stay far away from the Vicodin, but I am cleaning for work today and tomorrow. I might not have choice.
At least I don't take handfuls at a time like House LOL BTW, did anyone see the House episode this week? How nice, he gets over opiate addiction in one night! Wow! I wish I could have done it that quickly. :rolleyes:
However, it was funny- between giving himself the insulin and seizing from insulin shock (BTDT with Gary) to the opiate w/d's (BTDT with me and Gary) and then there was one other thing.... can't remember... but we were laughing that it was like watching our lives :D

Hey, I just noticed- you guys didn't correct me on my blabbering title of yesterdays thread. :D Not only was it not monday- I had all of those extra letters at the end- my computer is running so slow, i was typing for the message but the letters were still coming up in the title. LOL

yesterday was not much betetr than Monday- so fingers are crossed the Wed is the charm. I wasn't feeling great, had a rough startt to the morning. I get to the supermarket, only to realize that I left my pocketbook at home. Have to go back out inthe puring rain, drive home, get my purse.... Drop off three Rx's at the Pharmacy. All 3 get kicked back. Call Medicaid- we are still coming up as Plan D- and we are supposed to be in Plan A as of May 1. Our county social services has us at Plan A- but no one else does. So all of the drs appts I need to make and to buy new contacts are on hold until it gets figured out.
Just -- UGH!

But today is a new day :)

Sandra- hope that your rain stopped- we are having yet another rainy day here. Wish it would stop!

Morning Chris :), you crack me up and start off my day a big brighter! I noticed the typos yesterday but given that I was running late I let it slide LOL. I hope your pain subsides as the day goes on. (((hugs)))

good morning... on the fly post from me... I'm getting ready to hit the treadmill and shower... Piper's got ballet today... I still have to finish one Mother's Day hybrid card... I got one done last night, but still have 1 to go... and I've got to clean house... my Aunt Liz is in the hospital - she's been diagnosed with emphysema and apparently has something growing on her breast bone or some other bone that's pressing on her windpipe that's decreasing her ability to breathe... so my cousin, Kim, may be over at some point... this is just sooo close to Daddy... I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle this...

Chris - yeah I feel like a duck! I HATE all this freakin' rain! I am glad its decently warm... but my yard is a mud pit ewwwww!

morning everyone...

quick hi and some love!! :) I gotta get those kids working this morning!! We were at the studio until 12:30, and i came home and did my LOAD and got it uploaded to Flickr on time for Lain's LOAD challenge (thank God for PST!!). So i got into bed at 2:30 am!! Then this morning Mr Gorgeous wakes me up at 8:30 and says get up! I says, I haven't had my 7 hours yet...so he left me alone until I got myself up at 10am!! LOL!! so i got my 7.5 hours in!! but i still feel like a mac truck hit me just a little bit! LOL!!!! Now it's time to see if those kids are getting up...they are probably playing upstairs!! heeheee

Hey ladies..........

quick one from me, we are having company tonight, friends that we havent seen in a while and who have never seen Nico....I made a cheesecake...YUMMMM. I have some cleaning to finish. Nico is napping and thats it! I ran a couple of errands, its my husbands bday Saturday so I had to get some cards and stuff, and thats my story! Hope everyone is having a fab day!! Sun has been peeking out over here and its great....so tired of the rain! I am ANTI-RAIN!!! lol

Chris - I hope you are feeling better hun!! Did the sun peek out down there too? Hope so!

Good morning ladies!!

It is Wednesday...my favorite day of the week. Tomorrow is my favorite work day of the week since the devil lady doesn't work on Thursdays. Yay!! I need to get crackin on getting my stuff organized. I have finally found a way to organize all of my scrap stuff and I'm totally stoked about it. I had tried to use the photoshop program with my pictures and it was just too overwhelming, ya know? I do think when I upload pics in the future I will tag them but I don't think I am going to do all the old ones I have. Or maybe I will do it the way I already have it organized. I don't know yet. We'll see. I have already used the organizer ot find some stuff. It is awesome. I am trying to get all my oscraps stuff organized first then I will slowly do everything else as I use it I think.

So, I get my new camera...all excited about it and then guess what happens...it starts raining. I can't play with my fancy new camera in the rain. I am trying to get it all figured out but it is hard to figure out all the f-stop/aperture stuff. I'll get it figured out soon though I am sure. I have a friend who is a professional photographer that I will see over Memorial Day weekend so hopefully she'll help me get on track.

Well, that's about all I got so here's some personals for ya...

Chris - You'll be in my prayers this week. I hope your yuck feelings go away soon, especially the pain. That is funny that you can compare your life to that of House!! Wouldn't an overnight detox be nice?? And even better that you smell good enough to get the girl after this night of detox?? Big hugs!!

Everyone is just dropping in real quick!! I hope all of you in a hurry get everything done.

Sally - What a nice MG!! I wish mine were that nice to me in the morning. He ends up waking up too early and makes it my problem. Grrr!! Get some coffee. Maybe that will help your day and Mac truck feeling.

Oh, one last thing...totally random but the Mac truck comment made me think of it. If you pray please pray. There is this lady at my church named Janet. Janet has Parkinson's Disease and doesn't move around very well. She has a motorized wheel chair but also does some walking and bike riding. She is very independant, lives on her own and is always trying to get around on her own. Well, I guess Saturday night she was out in her chair and was crossing the street and got hit my a truck. Not hit but ran over. They rushed her to my hospital and then medivac-ed her to the large trauma hospital in Seattle where she is now. Her pelvis was broken apart in half and then one side was broken in half also, plus her spine had many fractures. Basically she is a surgical mess. So if you pray please throw in a prayer for her. She is such a sweet little lady. The other day, about two weeks ago, I was leaving the church and looked across the street and saw her on the ground so I ran over to help her, since that is how it usually goes when she falls, whoever is closest to her helps her up. What had happened was that she accidentally rode her chair off the edge of the sidewalk into new dirt so the chair got stuck. She was over there just trying to get herself unstuck. She didn't call for help. She was just trying to do it herself. That chair easily weighs over a hundred pounds. It ended up taking three of us to lift out the chair and one person help to get her up and steady for her to be on her way, but she was sure trying to do it on her own without asking for help. Anyway, this whole situation just makes me sad. The driver wasn't drunk or anything, just hit her. So sad.
