The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
hello my O-Fam!
How is everyone.
Can I just say I am feeling so much better (as in less cranky) since the weather finally started to warm up? I love warmth!

It is raining today but I am kind of glad about that. I have so many inside chores I have to do, so since it is raining, I won't be tempted to play in the dirt.

Thanks for the b-day wishes for gary!

Laurie- I am so sorry to hear the update on SIL. :( I hope that she will be able to enjoy the wedding and create some lasting memories of joy and love before she passes on.

marie! Yay !!!!! Dumpty is here!!!! We missed you!
Sounds like a beautiful and busy vaca!!

Clara:
I say maybe it is time to wear a horse costume and go see a vet!!
I am going to need someone to be the horse's a**. You up for it??
:pound: :pound:

You know I am so totally busting on ya- but you set it up for me perfectly. :D

Anyway.... :)

Did you get any info/advice about Addie? I know it is not helpful, but girls *are* mean. So much meaner than boys. Scott is a PITA but not mean. Cait can be hurtful, I know I was hurtful when I was a kid. And Cait is way *less* hurtful than what i see some of her friends doing to others. Its sad and I hate it. Hopefully it is just a phase and she gets out of it soon.

Oh-- and TY to all of you who say that Scott is a good kid- he has come such a looooong way in this last year. He said a couple of things at the Panel that I had no idea had even affected him (e.g. How it hurts him to see me struggle and cry). And to think just 1 year ago, I thought I was going to lose him, physically and figuratively.

I am one proud mama to both of my kids. I just have to say that since I said right above that Cait can be mean. She can also be sweet and loving and generous as well, she just shows it differently.

Look at My Baby-Bamm!!!!!!! OMG- she is beautiful and I am not just saying that!!!!! She is sooo big! And sooooo pretty!!! I think she looks a lot like you Kayleigh!

Nana Linda you are so good to YMG! Hope that he has fun with his camera.

Trudy- hope you had an easier day at work. Go sit down and scrap! Faery's orders!!

Sally- I have to put the King's Speech on my netflix list.

Marie

Kristy- ticks are so bad this year- its crazy- be careful!

Uh-oh laurie. I bet they know that you are freinds with me and all of my incendiary rhetoric. :P
when we went to Cozumel, it was right before the 2008 election. I told the kids to take the Obama buttons off of their backpacks and to not say one bad word, esp about GWB when we went through Houston airport.

xoxoxo!!!

morning- last official day of work and so much to do- yikes- then I need to pack and clean up the house for my guests who are house watching- argh- once I am on the road, it won't matter, but until then- my head wants to explode!!

haha...i thought that was for me!!! (our children were so well behaved politically on that trip, huh?)

Morning girlies! I had to get up toooooooooo early to take mr gorgeous to his carpool so kaylea and I can run around town all day. I've been pretty relaxed compared to how I usually sound in here. You'll have to get her take on life with the cellars, but it has been a blast so far. We took her to our fave museum yesterday and saw the Texas exhibit. Teehee...I actually had a hard time because there was a school field trip and it was pretty crowded. But the exhibit was great! I'll take mr gorgeous on a dinner date to see it when there aren't as many people!

Today we are going to meet mr g and my mom for lunch in the shopping mecca of Houston, the galleria. We are gona stop and check out the quilt store (and pick up my keys at church where I left them on Sunday! After that, it'll be home, dinner and a movie probably...

Hope you girlies have a great day!!!!!!
Love you all... sheep2

yeah i just pulled a tick off my 10 year old last night! its a daily routine checking them..i'll be spraying the yard today though...hopefully that'll cut back on some of them at least!! i've been treating my dogs every month even throughout the winter cause i know here fleas and ticks can still get ya in the winter!

Good morning!!!!

We got half a game in last night before the storm blew in!!!! I told Mike that it as DE JA VU....rushing out the door with chairs and stopping at Burger King to grab dinner on the way to the ball field ....eating in the car while driving!! HAHAHAHA!! Minus one thing...NO KIDS IN MY CAR!!! HAHAHA!!! I love EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just wishing there were a few Saturday games so it wasn't so rushed!!

We had a doozie of a storm last night....lots of rain dumped in a few hours....possible flooding!! Not around my house...but in the area.

Okay...so now that it's just Savannah and I....we never stop talking...Savannah is talking up a storm.. I just love that we can communicate something besides that LOUD SHRILL SCREAM when she wants something!!!! AAACCCKKKK.... she asks for what she wants now...THANK GOODNESS!!!! NONE of the other kids ever did that (the screaming for what they wanted)!!! She is just a DRAMA PRINCESS (Queen in training) :pound: I am not sure where she gets that disposition from....but I hope she outgrows it completely!!!! Her Daddy says "it's a good thing she is so cute!!!!" HAHAHA!!!!

Okay...off to put Miss S down for a nap and downstairs to the laundry for me!!!!

HAVE A FABULOUS DAY my sweet family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning sweet "O" ladies!! Another sunny day and I have to miss it again :hurt: Oh well, I am having fun learning what its like in the paint dept. So much to know and this is one old brain, so it will take me some time. Today I get to spend the morning with my good friend at work and just put away old statements and clean up the back office, we usually have a great time just talking and working away, the day will go by fast! It's so nice to wake up and see the sun and not be in the dark anymore!! Horray for Spring!!:clap2:.

Chris - I took your orders and just sat down and scrapped a bit last night, was going to do the Color Challenge, but its hard to lift myself LOL. So I did the Quote challenge instead... check it out https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=219744&title=may-rotating-challenge&cat=all

Laurie - Take a deep breath and keep calm, you will get it all done!! Then you can enjoy each and every minute of your vacation. I hope that you have a wonderful time .

Sally - love your sheep!! Sounds like your day at the museum was fun! I would love to spend some time doing that! I haven't been to a good exhibit in a long time and I bet you have a wonderful museum where you are! Have fun shopping today, don't buy out the quilt store now LOL.

Kristy - Be careful with those ticks, hope you can get rid of most of them with spraying, they are so awful aren't they!!

Morning Nana Linda... we posted at the same time and I missed you!
Another storm for you, hope the weather starts behaving better soon, no more flooding, there has been enough crazy weather already!!
How nice that Savannah can talk to you now! I am so looking forward to seeing my grandkids at the end of May, I get a week with them to myself during the day and I am sure it will wear me out, but that's ok!! Isaac is now talking like a mad man (just like his daddy) so he will be a lot of fun and Sadie never shuts up, but its jibberish so it will be frustrating at times I am sure. Hope your day is great!!

You know I am so totally busting on ya- but you set it up for me perfectly. :D

If it means we get to hang out...I am sooooooooo there. LOL!!! I didn't mean to set it up for you but I definitely did. I'd of said the same thing. Hahahahaha!! Love it!!!

I am soooooooooooo glad I didn't post in here earlier because I was a mess. i was unbelievably negative and ready to roll some heads. My head was ready to explode, my husband had left a mess, Addie was hysterical, I was feeling overwhelmed and WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! So, I spent about 2 hours getting Addie to take a nap and slept for an hour myself. I took the yucky headache medicine that makes my feet fall asleep and called the doctor because I can't find my paper that has the referral for the neurologist on it. They called when I was asleep of course. They'll hopefully call back soon. I feel much better now but my face is numb. Boooo!.

I have a ton to do but I wanted to visit first. My inlaws are coming this weekend and we have a stupid home inspection this Friday. We just had one so I'm not thrilled about it. they are supposed to be every 3 months and the last one was less than 2 months ago...during the O birthday party. Lame. Today I will be doing downstairs cleaning and tomorrow will be upstairs cleaning. I hate cleaning. I have to get vaccinations tomorrow so I have to get up early and get moving so I can get them done tomorrow in the afternoon. I wanted to get them done yesterday but the bloodwork for preg test takes 24 hours. Again...lameness. I know I'm not pregnant!! That would seriously take an act of God. The factory isn't closed but i take great care to make sure that doesn't happen, ya know?? Whatever. I'll do what I have to do. It will make it easier for when I try to get a job there.

Alrighty some personals so I can ge busy...

Chris - I did get some advice from the doctor...she told us the same as you. Girls are brats and she is a smart little 4 year old that knows how to work her parents. She told us to pick our 5 top issues and to be consistent and do the exact same thing between the both of. The biggest thing to not react to her temper tantrums, even if we were in public. She just throws so many of them. Today she wanted to go outside and ride her bike in the rain so I made her take a nap. She threw a fit for an hour and a half. I ignored her when she was actually throwing the fit and made her take the nap because she was tired. She's stopped sleeping in for some reason. Sleep is one of the things we decided we have to be solid on. It is one of the things I need to work on also and make sure I get plenty of. I can't stay up all hours of the night and I need to get up earlier.

Laurie - I hate the getting ready for vacation stress, but like you said once you are on the road it doesn't matter. have a blast.

Sally - glad you had fun at the museum and with K. I hate those crowds too.

Kristy - too bad we can't get a flea/tick spray for us like we do for the animals.

Linda - How fun to have the rushing around without the actual kids and the bedtime routines to go with it. I would love that. Haha!! I love bedtime but the rushing home to get the kids to bed after the kids stuff can be so stressful. I'm glad you are enjoying the grandkids running around. I love the baby chatter. give Miss S some kisses. Are you guys going to Myrtle this year? Maybe we'll come out and visit for the day this year. It was so fun seeing you last year. I think we are going in September.

Trudy - Have fun in the paint department. I'm sure you'll pick it up in no time. I know you enjoy that time with your friend too. Have a good time with that.

Hugs everyone.

Awww Clara!!!!! Hugs!!! I hope things calm down soon!!!

You ladies crack me up... I'll totally drive you Chris and Clara to a vet!!! We still have our horse trailer hehehe!

Man... drives me nuts that they are so quick to treat a horse for Lyme, but not a human? Chris do you think it could be your location and the conspiracy theory about that island where they say Lyme was invented? That would be dumb that they would write you off because of silly people.

Trudy I'm totally feeling your pain!!! Our allergies are so bad we can't go out and enjoy the BRIEF spring weather before the summer heat comes in. I hope you have fun learning the new department!

AHHH LINDA!!! That so AWESOME!!! I love seeing babies grow up and learning to talk :) I can wait to have my own, but I'm totally enjoying seeing your grandbabies and Jeff's cousins kids progress!!!

Sally... where do you find time for everything?!?! You amaze me... If I didn't have twins to take care of when I'm there this fall, I would totally have you show me how to quilt!!! I'm so jealous of your awesome skills!!!

Laurie I hope you get everything done so you can enjoy your trip!!! It sucks having to do so much prep just to be able to go away and relax :(

Chris I know I've said it before... but I'll say it again... Scott totally amazes me!! I'm so glad he's made a turn around for you and is growing up into such an awesome young man. And that's all because he has an awesome mom!!!!

I'm four or five days behind right now -- and Jeff isn't helping. His schedule is wonky this week, so he's been home, and wanting to be entertained. Luckily last night he drank too much wine too fast with dinner, so he was asleep all evening... so I was able to get some work done!
And of course when I was replying to an email while still in my PJs this morning... he was telling me to get dressed so we could go somewhere. He found something to distract himself for the time being... so hopefully I can get some work done before he drags me somewhere.
But of course I had to make time for my ladies!!!! Now off I go running again...

hey ladies - things are crazy - sorry I haven't been able to post too much besides random things here and there but I'm thinking of all of you!! xoxo

Ughhhh!!!! So talk about being wayyyyy too connected to social media....

I had to find out my grandma is in the hospital via facebook!!!!!! Sheesh, I wanted to wring my dad's neck for that move :-\ Sounds like it's dehydration from having the stomach flu or something, so she just needs to be rehydrated. Gah, my dad made it sound so much worse on FB.
