good morning.
Lots to do today. lots of cleaning anyway. derek and iselected a room to start putting things into as we go, but I have to get it cleaned out first. Cutting 600 sqft and a garage is going to be a bit rough. but we'll manage. me getting rid of stuff isn't going to be the hard part. Derek will be the hard part. So, I've got ot get busy on that. I've been so blah about everything but then I remebered my fly lady training and so this morning I got up and got dressed, not to shoes, since I don't wear shoes generally, but dressed is doing pretty good. I have to keep my scrap time to when the kids are sleeping deadline or not. Otherwise I will spend the whole day on the computer misusing time and I can't have that. So, I'm writing you guys now while she's till sleeping in the morning. My neighbor is going to come over today and help me stay focused. I hope that helps. I'll just keep waiting for Nana to come across to see me.
So, today I am going to do some personals...finally.
Chris - it is rainy on the west coast too. I don't get achy but I sure get even more unmotivated than I already am. LOL!! It has been really quiet here. I miss everybody's blabbering and am so glad to always see you, Linda, Laurie and now Sandra again. I hope everyone starts popping in more often.
Laurie - I hope you don't have to bring your laptop home. My mom used to be a major workaholic at her last job and the world ended when she got a laptop to bring home. Not that I think it is the same for you. But I know the laptop at home is never fun for anyone. The amish wedding sounds so cool. The Amish have always fascinated me. My husband grew up in Ohio, near Akron, and they lived near a Menanite (sp?) community plus in his job, plus several other jobs he had, he would work with the Amish so he seems to know quite a bit about them. The last job he had he was an x-ray tech and the clinic he worked for had an Amish clinic where they would go to the Amish community and provide health care for them. They would all pay in cash. He could always tell the difference between the Amish and Menanite. The only way I could tell the difference was if I saw them driving a car or walking around Walmart. Until I met Derek I never knew that there were different Amish-type religions. So, this is kinda funny. When Derek was in college he pulled a prank on a couple of older Amish men. They would drive their buggies to the bar at night and get drunk and then climb back into their buggy and their horse knew where to take them home. So, Derek and his buddies, switched out the horses one night so that they went to the wrong houses. Boys!!
Linda - Oh Linda!! I hope you are okay and I am glad you have gone to the doctor to get better. I don't like you being sickly. I hope they get you figured out and make you better quickly. So, what's this business with Cameran? I just read back. If I were Sharon I'd be upset with the teacher for not contacting her. I mean Cameran should def be accountable, but he should have been accountable much sooner and not because she asked. But at least now she knows. And for the teacher to let an experience that for Cameran was supposed to be a good one become disappointing was not very cool. Cameran sounds so much like Ethan. Me and his teacher have constant contact about his behavior this year, but in the past couple of years I have not been as lucky.
Sandra - those dull headaches are the worst. I have been having the same issue. I had to up my topomax ang got referred to a neurologist. We'll see what they say. Good luck with Will and his school. Something changed with his meds and diagnosis recently didn't it? Has that helped things? Poor Matthew. I hope he feels better soon.
Alrighty...I got everyone so far today. I'll chat later.
