Hump Day! And another cold and rainy day. I want my May weather back!

Laurie- thanks for the advice on 504/IEP. Its a lot of info to process, but if it helps him, I will fight on to the end.

Trudy- that sounds like a really fun concert and day out!

quick drive by -busy work day, then grocery shopping so I don't have to go to town tomorrow on my day off. Hopefully personals later- but probably not till tomorrow!
 
It is cold and rainy here today, too! Seems like I haven't seen the sun in weeks, although I know it's only been a few days. Weather was supposed to warm up today but I'm afraid to check the forecast and find out it was all a lie.
 
Good morning Ladies!! Sorry you are all having such crappy weather, don't like to rub it in, but it's sunny and warm here today. I am off to purchase plants for my hanging baskets today. I love spring!! I spent so many years living in a place where spring did not arrive until June or sometimes July and then it was not really spring it went right into summer. Don't miss it at all.
Chris... sounds like you have a fight on your hands, keep throwing those punches girl!!

Hey girlies....I am finally home...and Savannah has had just about enough running for one day!!! She is very fussy now!! And today's events has made me decide that the infant seat is DONE...her MOM is moving her to the regular car seat....well I am in my car!! She is too darn heavy!!!

Services are going to be tomorrow evening....I am making collages...I have to get on the phone in a minute and see where I can print quickly in the morning. As sad as this is, I am glad to contribute this for them.

Chris...I don't know what a 504 is, but Traci had an IEP from the 6th grade on. I found it to be helpful until the 10th grade...and then teachers were just too crappy to comply half of the time...I had to pull out the big guns all of the time and threaten to take them court, that her IEP stated "this and that" and they had NO choice but to comply. She did not have any learning disabilities, but was Emotionally Disabled, ED, and they all thought that was a bunch of crap. But you know my stories....and I will always say NEVER GIVE UP!!! It pays off in the end!!

hey ladies...popping in real quick from the airport. i'm on my way home and had a great trip but miss my family at home. ready to hug them and hold them our flight is late though. ugh!! hugs nana!! i'm glad you can contribute. i did that for both of my grandparents and it does help. i'll come chat tomorrow hopefully but i think tomorrow may be a whirlwind day. we'll see. love you guys and have missed you. see you soon. ciao.
 
It seems that today is the day for "drive by posting"! Long day at work, got home just a little while ago. There's light at the end of this budget tunnel yet!

Hopefully a bit more time tomorrow.

Linda, I have to say that doing pages for both of my parents to have at their funerals was one of the most therapeutic things ever! Hugs to you, and prayers for tomorrow.
